I took two courses with him. His MSA 671 course was a little bit more organized, but this one was HORRIBLE. He gave us a project and it wasn't until the end of the semester that we knew what we were doing. The way he teaches is terrible and the questions he gives on the exams require the students to teach themselves rather than take notes in class.

Dr. Liu is amazing! He is extremely helpful whenever help is needed, whether it is in school or life. He knows his material and is extremely fair. He loves his students and is very funny. Best professor in the department

This is the second class I've taken with him. He's pretty good and knows the subject. I don't know if maybe his english has improved in the past 3 years but he was easy to understand. Very helpful too, even over the weekends via email.

Like the posts before, does have slight trouble with English. HOWEVER, he is a nice guy always willing to help and he definitely knows his stuff! Oh, and he uses Powerpoint instead of lecturing the whole time. Just go to class and study from the book. Very distingushed and good guy to teach material!

Great professor and willing to help! He is kind and fair! Yes he is sometimes not easy to understand, however this can normally be cured with just a little studying... Tests are fair and right from the book... Beware of the final project though - its a killer!

Human resources department at Riddle really messed up when they hired this guy. They must not have of interviewed him. If so, they would have come to the conclusion that he can't speak English, therefore cannnot teach in U.S.
