Professor was super rude during class. She called me out many time during class and made it really hard to focus on the lecture when I was getting picked on. I was and still am an A plus student and made a 100 in this course. She does not like to answer questions in class either. Shed rather you listen to her talk than answer questions.

Took in 2nd 8wks Fall 2013. 3 tests + several quizzes & MathLab homework. Key to doing well is staying current with homework. Teacher was great in answering homework questions but don't simply say I don't know how to do it. Grading is fair & partial credit given if problem worked correctly. I recommend this course for serious students only!

class was very difficult if you you raise your hands she says she cant repeat things because we would be in the classroom all day. weird since we spend and hour and half in math lab each class.A lot of ppl were getting frustrated. if you email too many questions she will tell you to go to the math tutoring center. if struggling do not take class!

I took Professor Harris-Hardland for Math 0350, Math 1314 and Math 1342 and I loved her. English is my second language and she was extremely helpful in all my classes. I had As in both Math 1314 and math 1342 and a B in Math 0350 which was my fault. Show up to class & make use of the Math LAB outside her office hours. Highly recommended!...:-)

A really good teacher. She clearly explains everything and does her best to make herself available if you need help. I had for her Math 0250 and Math 1314 (8 week courses) and she was great. I got a high A in both classes because she explains stuff well, and has plenty of extra credit opportunities.

class is easy to follow, she is very detailed in teaching, all homework is online through mymathlab and you get an easy 10 points on any test just for showing up to class, but you lowest test grade gets dropped and replaced with your final grade..Awesome teacher

I had her for 0350 and 1314. They were both 8 week courses.She gives extra credit on tests. Her tests are not to long but are not multiple choice which i like more because i was able to get partial credit. she gives you 10 extra points to your tests at the end of the semester if you dont miss a day and have 100 hw grade. i got a's in both.

run for Ur life. very difficult professor.Doesn't assist students at all. Treat students as if they elementary school kids.she talks about statistics in class as if students are very familiar with the subject. If English is Ur second language then don't even dream of taking her,and she will make sure she tell you that on the first day of class.I

Argumentative and dismissive in class to students if ask Q she deems unworthy. All over the place in lesson. Holds different standards for students ie.. will give back extra points back on test if use right formula but get wrong answer but only to certain students. UNFAIR! Find another teacher if you want fairness. Seems burnt out from teaching.

I think she's great. I take her computer aided course, and it's great. We get to work at our own pace. When you take her pretest in class if you get a 90 or better that's your grade and you don't have to take the actual test. Plus, whatever you miss she'll go over with you until you understand. She's very helpful and encouraging.

She is an amazing math teacher! Me and my boyfriend both took her class and enjoyed her teaching style. Although this class is not meant for people who are not willing to work. She expects the best from everybody.

This professor was a complete waste of my time. She was rude to students and prefers to talk about herself and how great she thinks she is instead of teaching the class. She even wrapped up the class two weeks before the end of the semester and pretty much left us to teach ourselves. Wouldn't even help with the final review. Run for your life.

I took Harris-hardland for 2 math classes. she is an awesome teacher. If you have problems in math I highly recommend taking her. she explains wonderfully. the only reason why she would make a comment to you is if you do not to her work, or if you are falling asleep in class. She is an AMAZING teacher, and i absolutely HATE math! :)

The worthless piece of garbage spends most of class complaining about her personal problems. She makes fun of students in class instead of helping them, and she grades the final harshly (no last minute A's). Impossible to get an A if you don't do "optional" extra assignments. She is annoying, boring, and the class is deceptively hard. Stay away!
