Comment:
A brilliant and well-rounded scholar in not just Syriac Christianity, but also Near-Eastern studies as a whole. While he is serious in his dedication to his work and expects much from his students, he also has a charming, generous and very helpful personality. His lecturing is expository, not entertainment, which 1st years prolly have troube with.

Professor Harrak is a wonderful professor who knows a lot on his subject. I enjoyed his accent and didn't find it hard to understand at all. He is easy to learn from and definately deserves a happy face.

He is an exceptional scholar who has my respect. His accent has no bearing on his academic abilities nor does it impede his lecturing. He is a tough marker and expects the best from all his students which is a good thing as we pay much for our education.

I'm sad to see Prof. Harrak's low rating. He is a brilliant scholar, and I find his accent pleasant, not confusing. He gives a lot of information on some pretty obscure topicsbut it's with passion and a desire to spread knowledge. And he *is* hot.
