Yeah, he's one of the most helpful profs i've ever had. He's nice too. You can come to his office hours and ask the dumbest questions, but he still won't get irritated

Not only is he hot, but he tries extra hard to provide clarity and structure to the course. Numerous handwritten notes in addition to powerpoint slides, a book and exercises and answers. If he's working towards a tenure at the univ, then he deserves and I hope he gets it.

Excellent prof indeed. I agree with the previous posters that the test Maynard gives are extremely hard compared to the text and homework. I wish he'd prepare students for what's coming on tests better. If tests are going to be hard, then give us homework/readings at the same level, etc. ps: He's hot as well:)

Funny guy. I think this (2005-2006) is his first year teaching ECO327, a very difficult course, but he tries hard to make things interesting. I like his teaching style -- organized and to the point. Quite often he doesn't provide many examples or explain concepts at length though (I guess the latter is time-permitting unfortunately).
