Aaron I feel did the best he could when teaching this boring topic. The 3 hour lectures felt like 6 hours. The assignments and midterm were easy, but the final was difficult because everyone does well on the assignments. Overall, he was just an average prof... nice guy though.

Final exam was just ridiculous and took my grade from a B+ to a C+. He expected students to answer pretty much every question from all the practice problem series throughout the course + describe several concepts and lists. It was basically an exam designed to take 4 hours but we only had 3.

Easy assignment, easy mid term, hard final. For those who make him sound like he cant speak english, please relax, his English is just fine. You can understand him just fine if you pay attention. Although I wish the final was a bit less stressful

I enjoyed this course. This professor made sure every student in class understood the processes for the more complex tasks. If you attend class, do the assignments 100% (don't split up with group members) and know everything on the slides, then his exams are more than fair. The slides won't make sense if you miss classes. Good prof!

Guy runs on African time (20-45 mins late) for every class. He's a nice enough guy if you speak with him during office hours or after class just don't expect him to be very helpful. Avoid if possible.

He truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He can be a little hard to understand the first few weeks but once you get the hang of his accent it isn't a problem. His lectures tend to be long and repetitive and he ends up getting behind and not covering the material. Show up to class and you are almost guaranteed a good mark.

One of the worst profs I have ever had. He knows his stuff but cannot teach at all. He is a researcher, not a teacher. If he is reading this, I would like to tell him to please reconsider teaching as it is definitely not his forte.

I followed the course in 2011 and I loved it! The professor is dedicated and I really enjoyed his class, even if the course is really difficult, you have to pay attention and not for dummies! Great professor, high knowledge in the field.

His class was extremely boring and hard to pay attention to. It's true that the material is dry, but he doesn't help the situation. He was hard to understand and his teaching wasn't the greatest. The assignments had some tricks in it, but the midterm/ exam was straight forward for the most part.

His marking is really easy, as long as you attend in every single class, and understand all the material in his note. No need for text book for any of his course( include 2300)because his exams are directly from his notes. Very helpful prof if you have questions for him. You are lucky if you can get into his classes, lol

Good guy. It takes some effort to get used to his horrifying accent but, for sure, that's not lethal. Overall the course is pretty easy if you're Ok with numbers. The exams are average and his grading is fair. Ignore the textbook (I didn't buy one), go to class instead- you might be better off this way.

I don't understand the negative reviews, this guy is good. No surprises in his final exams (unless you skipped class). Any sort of "tricks" he may pull on the final are hinted well in advance. Go to class and you'll do well.
