His class was extremely easy. If you go to class he hand feeds you all of the answers to the exam questions in his lectures. You have to write biweekly essays that are simply. They are graded on a cedit no credit bases, as long as you do them and put in you own thoughts you will get an A in that part of the class. The class is VERY boring, but easy

Class was extremely easy, just more in depth about concepts learned in Psy 101 & 301. Lectures very, very boring, could hardly pay attention. I would tune out for 10 minutes and we'd still be talking about the same topic! He overexplains everything, so if you need an explanation more than once, you will surely get it! Weekly essay & tests very easy

weekly writing assignments and very few tests, each with equal weight on your overall grade. writing assignments easy, test questions are completely incomprehensible. almost ran out of time every test and they were only 35 mp+3essay. spent more time trying to decide what he was asking than choosing an answer. would not recommend.

He is an extremely good professor. His lectures are very clear, and he lets you know exactly what you need to study for the exams. You need to study in order to obtain a good grade, but if you do that his exams are not hard. He is extremely helpful and a wonderful professor! Take him if you can!

Helpful and cares for student progress. He has a sense of humor that people don't seem to pick up on very often. He is entertaining, but as already mentioned, he can be monotonous. He knows the subject very well.

Yarlas is a good guy and he definitely knows his stuff. Just reading the comments on your essays should verify that. His tests force you to know your stuff, which is good. Show up, take down the notes, write your essays and your good for an A. His lectures are a bit monotonous and he overexplains things sometimes, but he's a good prof.

I loved Prof. Yarlas. His lectures were supplemented with outlined notes and you fill in the blanks which really helped me learn a lot. If you do the bi-weekly essays and review your notes for the tests, you'll do good. He's also very friendly and pleasant. I highly reccomend him!!

Professor Yarlas' classroom is never boring. He manages to keep your attention with the use of anologies and witty commentary. His tests are somewhat difficult, but if you show up to class and do what is expected than you are likely to succeed in the class. Overall, his teaching style is very good.

He tries really hard to make sure you understand the concepts. Lectures are a little dull, but as long as you go to class and do the weekly essays (which are easy), you'll do great. Take notes, pay attention in class, and study for tests, and you'll do well. Not overly easy, but this IS college after all.

Reasonably good prof. Class was tedious at times because he tends to over-explain, but at least you won't get lost. Make sure you show up to lecture and do the weekly essay. If you put in the effort, you can do really well. He usually shouts instead of talks, but you get used to that after a while.

Class was boring but i really dont think it was his fault. The weekly essays along as you do them are an easy 20% of the grade which is nice. Only thing i didnt like was that his tests are more tricky then knowledgable. Must take your time on them are you will miss at least 5 that you should not have.

This class was very boring. Uses many of the same notes from PSY 325 that I also took with him. Weekly essays are easy, if you write something, you'll get credit. Tests aren't hard at all, I hardly studied and never read the book and got really good grades. It was just difficult to stay awake in the class and attend every week knowing it's boring.

He doesnt make the class boring, its just the subjet it self that is boring. I'd take his class again. The weekly papers are totally easy

He shouts instead of talking all class long and class is kind of boring. There is a paper due each week and two exams which make up 75% of your grade.

One of the worst professors I've ever had! He yelled instead of talking, and he used stupid examples for everything. Does not include the class at all, rarely mentions the book, but you are tested over material in the chapters as well as his lecture. I thought his tests were very difficult. If possible, try not to take any classes with him!

Quite possibly the worst prof I have ever had. He shouts, talks the entire hour, takes way too long to go over concepts that we already know, and does not include the class at all. I thought the tests were pretty easy. I've yet to open my book. All notes are on blackboard, but you still need to go to class to fill in the blanks.
