WHO LET HIM TEACH? As a woman, I never felt so disrespected in my life, absolutely disgusting and I hope the department takes the time to rethink who gets to teach this class. Always assumes your attacking him for some reason and says "Go to the president of University because I don't care".

"If you don't pass this class, you'll end up working at McDonald's for the rest of your life." - Prof. Dewan There's 3 exams for the class, the final is 45% of your grade, that's huge! Prof. Dewan isn't the best a motivation so expect a daily roast when you come to class. Although, I will say this, if you work hard for your grade you'll get it.

The worst professor I have ever had in my entire college experience and Im a junior ! He is so rude and demeaning I dont know how he still has a job as a professor. He will tell you if you dont understand a subject that hell repeat himself and help you better understand. But when you ask questions he belittles you because you dont understand.

The worst professor I have ever had. If you ask a genuine, logical, question he makes fun of you in front of everyone. At one point, my class didn't understand a difficult concept that he was (poorly) explaining, and he told us to "give up on tutoring" and to go to the hospital because if we were really "that stupid" we "need medication".

I can go on for days why this class will be the worse decision you ever make. Professor Dewan if you're reading this (He's definitely reading this) please take the time to appreciate my advice, I usually charge for my services but I'm feeling a little generous today. Dewan is a hard prof. to crack. Get ready to teach yourself and be called stupid if you ask him to repeat what he said. He tells you right off the bat, that 90% of his students fail his final exam. I do not suggest taking his course if you don't have to.

He is very sarcastic. Get ready to feel stupid when you ask him to repeat instructions that are not even clear. His accent is very thick, beware if you have trouble with that. His attitude towards students is unprofessional and he acts like a childish bully whenever he feels like it. Study the book like crazy and you'll survive. Not a real teacher.

Briefly put: Dewan insulted students when he believed their questions or answers to questions were silly or stupid, leading to a quiet environment when asking for questions or answers. Dewan's disorganization is his greatest failing, leading you to rely on the book for a decent grade. Know that his lecture only grants "C" worthy test preparedness.

BEWARE! Very disorganized and no structure to his class. Writes random statements/equations on the board with abbreviations that make no sense. Doesn't refer to what topic/chapter he is "lecturing" on. He babbles like a baby, good luck trying to understand. Bad grading system, changes his mind all the time, and tells students they're stupid.

Awful prof. Very think accent and rude to students. He says to look over the chapter in the book, but in class doesn't discuss anything from the book and abbreviates or uses symbols (sometimes same letter for multiple terms) for all of the class discussion. He gives you practice tests but they do not help you. Overall very confusing, dont reccomend

If you already know a bit about economics and have good comprehension, this class will be relatively easy. However, Dewan is not very good at explaining things more than one way and is rude to students who ask questions. That being said, he gives everyone plenty of opportunities to get a good grade and genuinely cares. Tutoring is a friend.

He is the typical foreign professor with an accent who only knows how to explain things one way, and if you don't get it he doesn't know what to do. Having said that the book was awesome and easy to understand and very helpful, and he is a great guy once you get to know him. He does have a nice grade curve.

Really rude in class, long lectures. Makes the test pretty easy and wants people to pass but he is bad at explaining things more than one way for those who don't understand.
