Awesome, shes really sweet and very understanding. Lectures are good, talks a lot but she is very good at asking if you need help or if you want to stay after class. Homework is easy

Dr. Tusks teaches the course material very well. She was willing to help after class and at office hours. She welcomes questions in the classroom. She is approachable, knowledgeable, passionate, and easy to communicate with. She expects you to read the materials and attend the lecture. She expects you to be an active learner.

She is an amazing teacher. If you don't like her it's probably because you're too busy complaining about actually learning something and being a lazy student. She really shows different ways to solve problems and wants us to be great teachers as well. I hope to take more classes with her. Her accent is awesome too.

She's very passionate about her teaching. There are 4 quizzes, 2 midterms and a final. Homework is due one week after it is given to you. There is one group project which you have to give a presentation with your group. So, be aware of that. Overall, she's a great professor.

Class is easy but expect to work for your grade. You have about a week to complete HW (from the text book). Expect 5 quizzes and 3 tests. She does drop your lowest quiz. If you have any questions, she is eager to answer them for you. I emailed her a lot and she always emailed back the same day with a clear answer. Accent is NOT a problem.

This class is easy if you do your work and pay attention. A lot of the people don't like her because they didn't get a good grade. You earn your grade in this class. I had her for two different math classes and for one I got a C, that is because I never showed up. She has an accent, but show up and do HW and you will be fine.

Tuska was a really good Math teacher. One of my favorites. With Math being my concentration, this class was beyond easy for myself; however, some students really struggled for reasons I can't grasp. She has an accent which makes it necessary to pay attention to lecture. I missed a month for surgery and she helped me catch up and pass with an A!

Dr. Tuska , although the lectures seem somewhat long, is a "good enough" professor. Yes, she does have an accent- but it is not overwhelming to the point where you cannot understand her. Although there is an assignment just about every week, it is almost a good thing because it makes it easier to get a higher grade! Her syllabus is easy to follow.

WORST CLASS EVER! Take any other professor, and please don't take her class. She is confusing, and snippy. She doesn't like to be wrong (sorry- but you can't build a pool with -15 ft as a length). Avoid her at all costs!!

Having 111 & 116 under your belt will make this class fairly easy. She is fairly relaxed on grading but requires you do complete each problem to the best of your ability. She is also approachable - I never felt nervous when asking questions. Will definitely take a class with her again if possible!

This class is easy if you have a strong math background. Even though the pre-req is Math 75, it would be better if you took this after taking 111 and 116. She's lenient on grading tests and she grades your homework based on effort. The accent does get in the way sometimes but that shouldn't deter you to be nervous about this class.

I have always got an A in math. With her as my teacher I got a C. When she is trying to explain things she gets lost. So how are students supposed to follow her when she can't even follow herself. Don't take her unless you really want to struggle.

Only take her class if you want to struggle. She does not explain things thoroughly to even be remotely comprehensible. She just expects to get it if you are shown (not taught) how to do something once. Lots of hw.

She might of been good in 03 but its 2009/10 now and she is not a good teacher. She doesnt answer questions and expect you to know how to do problems without showing you. Has a very strong Hungarian accent so a bit hard to understand her. Overall her hearts in it but she isnt a good professor.

Because of her heavy accent it was difficult to always understand where she was coming from. The course is not easy by any means but she does not make the blow much softer. She believes that if you struggle and try to figure things out on your own you will better succeed in math. She'd rather your do poorly than to have you fail the kids you teach.
