He was pretty good! I dont care what anyone says, he is really nice, and tries to be funny, too. If you are a good writer, its a good class for you. Not an easy grader, but we are in college, so come on now. Would recommend, unless you are looking for an easy A.

Nice guy, but a little crazy. He has some infatuation with cannibalism, kinda freaked me out. But still very nice guy and will help you with most problems. The downside is he grades hard as hell. I would try to get someone else if i had to do it over again

Ahsan is the devil. Not only did half the class have the same grades on papers, we had the same comments too. I don't think he read our papers, just wrote 70 and moved on. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Chowdhury is horrible. Avoid at all costs! He plays favorites with students - if you make a B or lower on the first paper, you'll make B's or lower on everything else. Biased, boring, and irritating beyond belief.

Puts too much emphasis on petty things when grading papers. Very unfamiliar with information outside of what he teaches i.e. historical/current events, other subjects, etc. so when referenced even if they make a very strong point...he thinks it's nonsense and gives a bad grade. avoid at all costs.

Like everyone else said, just go to class and do the short readings. Quizes are easy. The papers your write are easy too. He tries to help you any way he can. Very helpful with suggestions for your paper. Good professor with a pretty good sense of humor.

Mr. AC is GREAT! If you have at least moderate writing skills and show up for class you'll be fine. There's a little reading at first but then mostly writing. When he grades your essay he doesn't just tell you certain words are awkward, he actually gives suggestions on how to fix them. Suck up!!

He's a good teacher, when it comes to explanation. He's got a sort of Arabic accent, so you have to pay attention. He gives a lot of reading per day, but, then again, there is always sparknotes.com. If you schedule a meeting, he's glad to help.

Not a good teacher at all. Get another teacher if you want to pass. He failed most of our class on our midterm...who fails a core class, especially English!! Everyday quizzes and he is an extremely hard grader. Hard to understand certain words he says.
