Arthur brought medieval history to life f It was because of the nature of his lectures that I began to see medieval people not as some strange and backward oddities, but as rational humans with ideas and motivations that were different, but not any stranger than those of modern man. It is an historical outlook that I try to bring to my classroom.

Very dedicated professor. He would spend any amount of time to help struggling students. Any one who had trouble getting help never asked. He has retired and moved to Charleston SC. I feel sorry for those who never had an opportunity to take one of his classes.

A Arthur is a dillitante who singles out a select type of student for this attention. He has little regard for weaker students and provides no support or encouragement for the student trying to improve. He helps only a few select students and those for the most part send over inflated ratings.
