Comment:

Great class. Only downside is buying 6 different books ($10-$15 each), but they are all pretty interesting and worth reading. Reading quiz every class, 2 group projects, one exam. Not a strict grader, just prove you understand the topic/have done the reading and you will do well. Also a very knowledgeable and helpful guy that gives career advice.

One of the hardest classes I've taken at UMass but definitely worth all the work. Really interesting class. As long as you put in the effort, do all the readings, and attend class, you should be good.

Best class I have ever taken at UMass. Professor Robinson is so intelligent and this class is truly inspiring if you are looking to become a leader and make a difference in any field of work. It's a lot of reading, but very fair grading. If you are an OIM major, please take this class.

Prof Robinson changed the way I think about life and human relationships. He is one of the most important instructors I've ever had. He LIVES for his students. If you need help with class, finding a job, or anything else he will be there for you. He gives LOADS of reading and work. But it's grad school. Every teacher should.

Really good guy, and he explains the material well and answers questions when necessary. He gives a lot of examples about his experience relating to the material, his book is really interesting to read and I had no trouble with his exam or his part of the final. He's always willing to help out, whether it deals with class or for life advice.

The best out of the three and possibly one of the best professors in SOM. Very knowledgeable and nice guy, keeps you interested even at 8 in the morning. His exam is the fairest out of the three, just make sure to read Ideas Are Free and know critical path and the inventory thing and you'll be fine.

wouldn't argue that he's not a smart guy. But he seems to think that he's the only guy who is smart in this world! Did not take Management 301 so had no idea how good the class was. For FINOP 442, he did not really handle the schedule well, squeezing many materials towards the end of the semester.Weakly quizzes ask random questions in the readings.

Incredibly interesting professor - has some great stories and real-life application of operations management! He makes good use of class time and also comes to class early to do little help sessions beforehand to clear up any confusion. Super helpful + nice! Exam is reasonable.
