Straight up lecture class. He talks fast and writes small so you really have to listen. Only 3 tests, a final, and a "did you read the book" book report. That's IT. And you don't have to take the tests if you don't want to. He grades on a curve but if you're not good at writing notes during a lecture, DON'T take this class. There is no textbook.

I'm sorry if you have to take this class for a major requirement, cause he's the only one that teaches it. ONLY TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE SUPER INTERESTED IN THE MATERIAL AND WILL SHOW UP TO EVERY CLASS. If not, don't take this class! There are better geneds and better professors! No textbook makes it even harder because answers aren't on Google

No textbook. He lectures for all of class (and is prone to going off on tangents). Continuously tells the class that he gets paid whether or not we learn anything, will purposefully give info for a test when a student goes to bathroom. He has (some) good intention, but dont take this class if you care about your happiness or sanity.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He never comes to class with a lecture prepared, instead, he just rambles on about whatever comes to mind. Extremely disorganized. Has a TA grade tests that never comes to class. His lectures are difficult to understand. Perfect example to show that researchers do not necessarily make good profs. Worst professor at AU.

The Professor realized previous classes had difficulty with his class and said he was determined to make it easier for students. He definitely did! There is no textbook so you just have to take notes. He gives study questions and if you do those before the test (just based off of your notes) and can answer them, the test should be a breeze.

This class was very hard for a 200 level course. Managed to get an A because of the high grading curve, and the TA graded all the tests and some of the answers that were right ended up being wrong. He shouwed a lot of willingness to help students out! and he is very knowledgeable but the class itself was rough for no reason.Final= 30 ?'s short answ

I thought this class was vary challenging but not completely unreasonable. The lectures were hear and there but this is how many professors teach. Professor Silberburg is extremely knowledgeable in the field of learning and behavior and overall a vary intelligent guy. That said the class was harder than it needed to be. He dosenĂ¢€™t coddle students.

This is actually the worst professor I have ever had in my academic career. He is rude, out dated, and extremely unhelpful. He gives no reviews for exams and no study guides. He openly insults students in class and the arguments that he makes are outdated and sometimes even offensive. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Biggest regret I've had class-wise.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! Do not take. He is dirty, gross, smells and is rude. He doesn't care about students or making their lives easier. He just does his thing and that's all. If you beg and waste your time talking to him he may give you some more points. Every thing about this class was bad. It is a 200 level course taught like a 300 level.

He is a good teacher, despite what other students may report. He is incredibly smart and knows a LOT so do not underestimate him for ANY reason. He is reasonable so just go with the flow in this class.

Great class if you like getting D's. This man is ridiculous! He doesn't remember what he says in class and therefore puts random info on the test. Very hard to study for the test because you don't know what to study specifically. He is a horrible teacher...looks like he just rolls out of bed and arrives at class without brushing his hair. Horrib

He is one of my favorite teachers. He's laid back, easy to get along with, and makes corny jokes a lot. I highly recommend him if youre a psych major, if you plan on going to class (attendance isnt graded but it prepares you for the test), and if you're okay with short answer blue book exams.

Silberberg is very good. He tells great stories. If you are not into psychology or not interested in hearing a strict behaviorist view, then don't take his class. He isn't the most approachable man, but the lectures are really good. His exams are really hard, but there is a curve.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, if you do you will be very sorry. It is EXTREMELY difficult, way too much for a gen ed. Even when you ask him for help, he isn't as helpful as he could be and actually makes rude comments. DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Though the teacher is very humorous and knows the material, the tests are hard. Difficult to obtain help since there are no office hours. His TA graded all the tests/exam yet didn't know the material. AVOID this class if you still want to keep your GPA up!

Good professor. He has a vast knowledge about the subject matter and the material is interesting if you enjoy psychology at all. Tests are challenging, but he puts a nice curve on them. 3 tests, and a final. Good, solid prof.
