Great guy, odd sense of humour, tells you you're wrong all the time and asks what you are you doing. Very lenient on marking the labs, assignments are slightly tougher marking but still overall fair. Midterm and final were fair.

unfortunately, he is the only option for Comp 2510 ( Procedural Programming in C) in BCIT, there is no other instructor. I think he made up these comments, lots of teacher in the town but he has been working here since 2004!!!!!!. what if someone wants to take this course with someone else. it's not fair and won't take this course again. sorry BCIT

Best instructor ever!!! Knows how to teach, very old school, know how to do things the perfect way, he laughs at everyone unless you do it the best way. Very good to talk to, I finished labs very early so I used to talk to him, amazing!!!

One of the best instructors! He is a funny guy, tends to laugh at your mistakes (just laugh with him, it throws him off). His teaching methods are oldschool but he is very thorough and very smart. You can learn a lot from him! Do not miss any lectures.

Just an awful professor. He doesn't actually teach you, just writes code on paper for every lecture. Don't even bother asking questions if you are stuck or confused, he will literally laugh at you.

He is approaching retirement for real and will be a great loss for BCIT's CST program. He coded in pen and paper during lecture, writing terse and clear code, and gave astoundingly clear assignments. A villainous mastermind at times, had a somewhat adorable nervous laughter. Very impatient towards students asking him questions in class though.

You can tell he is knowledgeable, and knows plenty about C programming, but in terms of getting that info across to students brand new to the language, not very good at that. You might struggle to understand what he says at times. He says your code is "incorrect" if you dont do it his exact way. Warning: If you don't like programming, stay away.

Albert Wei is one of the best teachers I have ever had along with Jason Harrison. Labs are fairly easy if you pay attention, and he helps a lot if you ask. Even if you don't do much in lab, he'll probably give you at least 7/10. Does not use the textbook, its optional, just writes notes all the time. Also laughs a lot and says ok all the time.

Hard lectures, not so easy labs. Will definitely help if you are stuck. Sometimes "in one line" but straight to the point. Very nice person if you know him well. Always fair!
