Great teacher! He lectures each class and gives good info, as long as you write down all the notes he writes on the board you should be fine. he gives 4 tests in the entire semester so study study guides, there is an essay portion to the tests and he gives you the topic before hand. if you study and prepare you should pass. he is really funny too!

he's pretty tough and serious (i honestly hated him the first week of class and was so close to dropping) but it was an overall easy class and very interesting. he is very knowledgeable and passionate about his lectures and shows videos often to help understand. just don't get on his bad side!

Took him for critical thinking & ethics and for philosophy. If you are taking him my suggestion is pay attention to every single detail in his lectures, everything he says matters! He breaks down complex and convoluted philosophical ideas in such simple terms that anyone can understand. Keep in mind that philosophy can be a very dense subject!

I had to say that this is one of the worst teachers that I ever had. Not only his terrific attitude but his way of teaching with so many information and names like if you were majoring in philosophy or English because the essays that you have to write on each test must be near perfection to get 25 out of 30. Not recommended at all.

He is not the worst profesor but his class is too boring .He just read the lecture in the projector,wrote stuff in the board that I really didn't understand . Complicated vocabulary that becomes the content hard to understand. His class has 4 exam, he eliminates the lowest grade. Don't pay much attention to his lectures, just study from the guide.

The class was very informative. Sometimes I felt that it was too much information for one class, mostly because I took the class on a summer mini-semester. I learned a lot in this class and had to work hard to understand Philosophy. Overall, I liked his class because he is old-style. All tests are written and no computers are needed.

His lectures are sometimes boring but sometimes interesting. You take 4 exams and at the end he drops your lowest grade. The test usually consists of a simple multiple choice question around 10-20 word matching and an essay which he gives you a week before the test. Just go to class, don't need to pay attention, and just study the study guide. Easy

I took this class for a mini term and it was very stressful. He only gives 4 grades the whole semester (4 test) and then he drops the lowest grade. The material for the test isn't difficult, its just a lot (study guide is indeed given). He's a bit tough when grading but nothing extreme. Don't recommend for a mini term...

This professor is not the best professor. He has 4 exams that are challenging in the whole semester. He is so boring and goes on and on about philosophers like if we're going to be critical thinkers. The class is boring makes you want to fall asleep. His use of vocabulary is as if you were studying for a Ph.D. And he's teaching at Miami Dade.

This is the worst professor ever existed! He thinks that we're all going to be philosophers and critical thinkers. His use of vocabulary is extremely high making it hard to understand certain things. He's extremely rude in class. DO NOT TAKE!

Only has 4 grades per semester (exams) so if you mess up on one exam your grade really gets hurt. He writes his own notes and then reads it off the projector in the most boring way. Most times he will just put on youtube videos. Not the philosophy teacher you want.

Excellent, he has extensive knowledge in history, philosophy, religion. His class is all lecture, "University style" is how he describes his class. His test are totally easy, he gives you a study guide telling you exactly what's on the test and even tells you the essay topic. Very interesting class.

he goes over EVERYTHING that will be one the test...even gives a review test before the test which cover 95% of the test and gives u the essay topic the class before the test
