Five assignments for the whole semester besides weekly home works. First assignment's feedback came in a couple of days before the midterm, and the third and fourth arrived on the morning of the final. Took a month to reply an email. tough marker.

Comment:

She is the best profs in Kwantlen University. She is very willing to spend time helping her student for improving their grade. I got B+ on this course easily. If you finished her homework, you will get at least a B.

Alexandra teaches communication, yet cannot reply to an email for days. She takes months to hand back assignments. She marks like she is marking papers for a 4th year class and expects you to know things you have not even gone over before the assignment. Terrible prof and would not recommend whatsoever.

I would say she is definitely one of the worst profs at Kwantlen. This course has more work than a 3rd year course. Not professional whatsoever and takes over a month to grade assignments.

Do not recommend! Takes forever to mark assignments, homework/quizzes every week which are worth nothing and assignments are long. For a comm prof, she is not very professional. Final report is a 3000 word paper .. This is a introductory course but she expects too much. There are better profs out there

Alexandra is the worst prof I have ever seen. She will not answer your questions via email on time, she takes weeks upon weeks to mark assignments and does not give proper feedback. Each week there is SO much reading and assignments, some that only count for participation but take very long to do. I would definitely recommend avoiding her.

I like Alexandra as a person; I think she's clever and sociable. However, her response time to e-mails is slow which has the potential to cause issues if you're seeking immediate advice. I have not yet received a grade or any feedback for an assignment I submitted to her via e-mail a month ago.

Lots of homework! Material isn't difficult but every week there is reading, online quizzes, forum participation, exercise problems, big assignments etc. She's nice but a very slow marker so if you depend on her feedback to improve, you'll be disappointed. It's an online class but this class has more work than all my others combined.

Not very clear when it comes to assignments or when asking for clarification. Makes you feel stupid for asking questions and or gives very vague answers in return.... On the up side she's very upbeat but, if you're an introvert avoid her, or your GPA will suffer.

Alexandra was a really kind and helpful professor. Her instructions for assignments were crystal clear. She tried her best to make the class interesting. She was a bit of a tough marker but if you put in an effort you will be rewarded. She didn't respond to emails consistently and was a bit unorganized but I enjoyed having her as a professor.

I took this course online. She posts things with plenty of time to complete them. It involves a bit of work, but without actual class time, this is expected. She's super easy to approach and i will definitely be taking her classes in the future.

Not that bad of a teacher. Her online quizzes and midterm is real straightforward and easy. Kinda picky on essays that we have to do. So you have to work hard on those. Shes also easy going and kinda funny!

she's the worst instructor i have ever had at Kwantlen. she doesnt teach at all except making us do group discussion (which is useless and wastes time) she's always late and lazy! we have had at least 4 class cancel this semester. i think her marking is based on if she likes the student or not... most people got C.. and only one person got an A+...

Alexandra has a unique teaching style. Lectures keep you interested and you do learn alot, but she is a strict marker and a lot of effort is required for a decent mark
