Comment:

Alfred is an amazing professor, and an even better person. He is extremely friendly, knows his content very well, and loves helping students. Even outside of his office hours he will often help you, and he's very clear to follow when he does. 135 is a hard course no matter what, but he made it much easier by explaining the concepts so well.

Comment:

Professor Menezes is one of the best Profs I've had in my university career. Really cares about his students and explains thing very well. Always available for help. Make sure to go to class, I would say it's worth it since many examples he does are related to the assignments.

Truly amazing! Crypto is a really hard course but his explanation made everything clear. Slides were really concise yet informative. Exams were fair, only the core concepts were tested. Talks a bit too fast. Writings on the board were neat and clear. Assignments were very useful. Replies very diligently on Piazza. Need to post blackboard notes tho.

The best professor I have ever had! You can tell that he really cares about his students. What I loved the most was that you truly truly never felt dumb for not understanding something or for asking a question. -He is VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend taking a class with him if you can!

Best prof in this department when it comes to clear, organized lectures. He prepares in advance and never looks at any notes to write on the board (100% of what he teaches is on the board). Midterm was a breeze (take-home) and finals were a bit hard/tricky. Assignments were well prepared and he is always helpful outside of class. Verdict: 5/5

Comment:

Absolutely phenomenal teacher. Very interesting and very funny. His lectures cover all the material, so you don't really need a textbook (I found his explanations better than the textbook anyway). The course was difficult, but made a lot better by the prof.
