Comment:

The class was easier than any class I have ever taken.. Maybe even easier than high school. But after saying that, I felt like she was rude. She always made rude faces at students and acted like we had no idea what we were talking about. I would still take her, but she isn't the nicest teacher.

Good teacher and not too hard of a grader. Class is pretty easy but there is a lot of "busy work" to do like worksheets and stuff but it's easy and the papers aren't too bad! This was one of my favorite classes!!

Love this Prof. There is homework every day but its straightforward & she reviews the questions in the next class She has no attendance policy but you still have to turn your work in on time She is easy to talk to and easy to get along with& she stays on track with her syllabus here at Ferris. There is a lot of in class discussions but they are fun

The class is super easy. She does give out homework every day but it's very simple and she goes over the questions in the next class. She has no attendance policy. She is easy to talk to. It's a easy A as long as you do your work and get it done, sotimes she'll let you turn it in a couple days late with no problem. :)

She gives you a very well understanding on how to write papers. BUT if you write about anything that she does not agree with, then it will be wrong. Marks down papers for simple things and when you re-write then to get a higher score. she BARELY increases your grade. Also makes EVERYONE participate by calling on students randomly.

Such an easy class and teacher. You can redo all papers for a better grade. No attendance policy and all late work is accepted. She's also really nice and is very clear on how she wants the work done. Highly recommended.

I hated English before I took Mrs. Bandstra. She made class fun for me. She is witty and will answer your questions if you need help. There is some "busy work" but it takes 5-10 minutes to complete. I personally hate talking in front of the class but with her I didn't mind it at all. She leads you to the answer if you don't understand her question.

Bandstra was great! I got an A without too much trouble. She is witty and nice. You would have to put forth major effort in order to fail her class! Ask questions and you'll be fine. I recommend her very much!

Lets you rewrite all your papers for a better grade. There is homework, but it only takes 10 mins and its easy points. Very helpful, will answer all of your questions to make sure you understand. You do have to participate in class but its not a big deal.Do the work and you will get an A. HIGHLY reccomended for 150 and 250

Bandstra's a pretty easy teacher. Yeah, she has a lot of useless worksheets, but you get full credit for them no matter what you write. The one thing I absolutely hate about this class though is that she makes everyone participate. So, if you do not like to talk in front of class you will hate this class.

She will make you sound incredibly stupid if you don't say what she is looking for in her exact words. She grades completely subjectively, which is crap, if it isn't her opinion it is definitely wrong. She marked my paper down because i used a negative connotation, which is what i was going for.

Dislike her a lot. If you don't like to participate in class, i highly recommend you don't take her because she will pick on you every class more than once, and if you don't put it into her words that she wants to hear, she will make you sound like a retard. Mrs Bandstra was probably one of the best teachers Ive had. Shes always up for a few jokes (I always wore my 'funny' shirts to this class) and she lets you rewrite your papers as many times as you need too. Definitely an AWESOME teacher! (She always complained about not getting a chilli pepper, so, heres to you Mrs Bandstra!)

Yeah she's boring and gives a ton of pointless assignments, but the class is easy enough. There are quite a few papers you have to write, but they're all pretty easy and you can redo them to get a better grade if you want. Easy A.
