The best possible way to conquer cell bio and finish with an A is to record each lecture, take notes on each lecture powerpoint slide, then read the chapters in the book and add notes from the book to the lecture powerpoints. MUST understand concepts! Overall, it is not as tough as people make it out to be if you put in a lot of time and effort.

Extremely smart and helpful guy. The best and only way to do well in his class is to record his lectures and to play them back while you go through his PowerPoints. Exams can be wordy and tricky, but it all comes down to how well you know the material.

Dr. Blake will be exploring glucose with you for 15 weeks throughout the summer. Honestly, one of the greatest professors I've ever had. He is very clear in how he explains, make sure you record his lectures though because you will not catch everything the first time around. Read/Understand 10 quizzes, and you'll be fine. Great class.

This was a very difficult class but definitely manageable if you put the time into it. He gives a "pop" quiz once a week and four exams plus a final. He is also very helpful if you go to his office hours and is very passionate about cell biology! Make sure to record his lectures.

dr Blake has hands down been the best professor i have had thus far. I just had him for cell bio and you can tell he is very intelligent and loves to teach. he is a bit intimidating but definitely want to help you out. you HAVE to put in work in his class, record all his lectures and take notes on them. he's a dime piece

Record his lectures and listen to them after class. He gives 10 pop quizzes throughout the semester- 1 quizweek. Hes one of the smartest men I've ever met, but his tests are challenging. You have to really know the material like the back of your hand. If you wait till the last minute you're DEAD. Study a little everyday & GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS!!!

THIS CLASS IS SO HARD. Death is upon your social life if you have to take it. But the lectures are super interesting and I love this mans sense of humor. Too bad im doing horrible in class. Be sure to review lecture notes every night. RECORDINGS WILL SAVE YOU. This is the most challenging class.

Dr. Blake is the best professor ever, you will learn so much and he will push you to do your best. That said his tests are hard, there are approx 10 pop quizzes. You need to read every day for this class and stay on top of it, b/c if you fall behind its hard to catch up again. Take Dr.Blake tho, he will teach you so much about Bio. Great help too!!

Incredibly challenging. At times it is easier perhaps to make a human out of dust and toothpaste than to get a perfect score on his exams HOWEVER he is exceptional. One of the best at Seton Hall and certainly top three in the Bio Dept. He teaches thoroughly and grades fairly. WELL WORTH IT. I enjoyed his classes even if I didnt get all A's.

He's by far the best prof (well, second to Rawn) in the science program. The class is tough. Don't screw around and NO CRAMMING. Review every night and it'll go by fine. Go talk to him after class and you can learn a whole lot more. If you plan on taking the MCAT, you'll need this class.

honestly dr. blake wasn't as hard as dr. rawn. but anyways it was still hard. just memorize all the powerpoints and you'll be ok. watch out for the trick dilution problems though.
