Dr. Holland is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. She talks a lot and tends to get off subject at times, but she is not going to tear your writing apart. She gives you the tools you need to improve your writing. Truely cares about the writing department, and gives you positive feedback. Very understanding. Love her!!!

I had her for Intro to writing. Good professor. She does ramble on and on but you will pass the class as long as you do the work she assigns. She is very flexible and gives you plenty of time to get things done. If you don't like hearing people ramble she's not for you but if you want a professor who will make sure you pass, she will.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. My entire class actively participated and every person in my class wanted to have her for Comp 2. She doesn't focus as mu ch on grammar as she does on emphasizing the LOVE of writing. Great teaching style. Loved her. I recommend this teacher!!

Talks a lot. She says she likes discussion classes but she is the one who ends up doing all the talking. No structure and does not follow outline. I would not take a class with her again. She is great in the Writing Center and knows her stuff but can't stop talking to save her life. Easy class though.

Rambles A LOT, often telling the same stories over and over again...but she's an excellent facilitator in the Writing Center. I would avoid her as a professor though....I know I'd get bored.

Nice lady, but her class was a waste of time. She made the focus Geneology, but didn't mention that in the info for the course. Spends at least an hour rambling about her own family history. Absolutely no instruction on writing. Gives very specific, random topics (750 words on a candy? I don't like any candy that much). Very easy, though.
