Professor Austin has been awesome for Calculus 3. The concepts aren't exactly simple, but her notes make it them easier to understand. Her office hours are very helpful as well. Very clear about what will be on tests.

Id take again, shes organized and a good professor. Dont expect for her to bend over backwards for you or bend rules, but she will help you. Best prof for 152.

Amy is arguably the best math teacher like... ever. She posts her notes after lecture so you dont NECESSARILY have to attend, but I highly recommend it. Theres online homework as well as suggested problems. Shes always willing to explain things differently and is highly accessible.

I wish there were more professors like her in Texas A&M. There is a reason why she is always in demand and its difficult to get into her sections. The math department needs to realize this and bring more teachers like her in the department because they have some teachers who are detrimental to students' learning.

Amy Austin is the best math professor. She really cares that her students do well. She teaches the topics thoroughly and posts all her lecture notes online so you can have them later. It is still important to go to class to fully understand. Makes reviews for each test and is accessible outside of class.

Amy is the best prof I have had at Texas A&M. She does an incredible job explaining the difficult concepts, and is very understanding. Her office hours are super helpful, and she is very willing and patient when answering questions. I understood MATH 152 well because of her.

Comment:

Dr. Austin is one of the best professors I've had so far. Super caring and actually teaches you the material. Accessible outside of class, during office hours, which was twice a week. There's weekly homework and quizzes, but they aren't too bad and act as good mock questions for the exams. Highly recommend!

Amazing professor who explained math in detail and in a fun way. She genuinely cares about her students and is easy to get in touch with outside of class. Personally the only part I struggled with were her weekly quizzes because they were moderate questions over topics we just learned. Calc 2 is hard either way but she is the best you can take!

Don't be mistaken, 152 is a difficult course, but Amy is the best professor by far. She is extremely fair with her expectations and although the material is challenging, she will help you anyway she can. The course consists of matlab, quizzes, and homework as well as exams. So, there is plenty of buffer from the homework, quizzes, and matlab.

Amy is a wonderful prof and her lectures are very well structured. Everything is laid out clearly for you to follow along and learning the concepts is easy. Each test alone is not too bad in terms of material but putting everything together for the final makes you realize all the memorization, but her reviews help you get through it without stress.

Amy Austin is a wonderful person and a great professor! Math 152 is a difficult class and has common exams so its up to you to study if you want to make an A in the class. Amy Austin gives you all the resources you need to make at least a B in this class, and her lectures are amazing. She is the best professor I have had so far!

She is so nice and helpful, she really cares about her students and she will help you if you reach out to her. She has hundreds of students, but she makes a solid effort to remember and talk to her students. People like her give me hope in humanity. Also she's really smart and funny and an amazing lecturer.

Everything you've heard about her is true. She is the best math prof here. Her lectures are so clear, and she really takes the time and effort to make sure everyone understands the material in class. She has great office hours, is super sweet, and genuinely cares about your learning. She is a true angel. Take her if you want to learn and do well.

best professor at Texas A&M hands down, she make Calculus 3 seem so easy. Just make sure you do your homework and understand it, then you are guaranteed an A. Also go to her office hours, it is extremely helpful. Felt like a genius in that class.

I don't have anything to say about Dr. Austin that hasn't been said before. She is absolutely FANTASTIC. Extremely clear in lecture, and very caring if you have questions about any concepts. However, I will say this: Cal 2 is what you make of it. I personally found it a bit easier than Cal 1, but it can be extremely challenging if you don't study.

Great lecturer. She has a website on which she posts all her note packets that you fill in during class and posts them once completed. MATH 152 is a hard class but she makes it easy. The tests are difficult but since she and another professor make them, you'll be well prepared for them. Her packets cover many useful and difficult examples.

This prof is great. I love her and want her to adopt me. She teaches amazingly and simply. She does mess up during lectures when it comes to simple calculus, but it keeps you on your toes. Her tests are relatively easy, and if you talk with her, she will definitely be understanding. Amazing woman, take her if you can
