She gives out a lot of take home quizzes so there's no excuse to fail them. The tests are hard but she gives you the main formulas. Study! She doesn't require you to do problems from the book but if you don't, look forward to failing a test. She doesn't help, sends you to math lab. laid back teacher

First I want to say she is very nice and gives you every opprotunity to learn the material. Dr. Amy is very fair on grading. But. you must do the homework she will not grade it but if you are weak on reading comprehension and strong on math you will be a studying fool. Make sure you understand from the first day. If not you will get lost.

She posts class notes on her website so if you miss a class, you can still get the notes from the class that day. Homework only reccomended, not mandatory. Only grades are quizes and tests. 1 take home quiz, 1 in class quiz and 1 test per chapter. Fairly easy. Great teacher!

Dr. Amy is great! I would recommend her to anyone who is scared of statistics...she will let you know what you need, how you need it, and how she will present it...all you need to do is pay attention. She gives all the notes you need online and there is no homework. She answers all questions, even before/after class. She is the greatest teacher!

I really enjoyed Dr. Amy's class. She's pretty laid back, just DON'T talk when she's talking. She's pretty leniant, always willing to help you out if you have a question. I have been horrible at math all of my life, but I really am doing well in Dr Amy's class. I would recommend her to anybody! :)

Excellent instructor. She knows statistics and the way different minds learn it. She knows how people get confused and tries to structure class to avoid this. Clear notes, clear textbook, & opportunities for extra credit. Tests are fill in the blank mostly. It's clear she cares about her work. Thanks Amy. Write a book on teaching!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Prof. Explains everything clearly, gives benefit of the doubt, helps any way possible and relates to students well. Class isn't an easy A, but if you're good at algebra, you'll do fine. Her textbook is perfect, no need to take many notes, just hilite in it. Prepare for difficult last two tests. She's got that 'cute nerdy' look going on, too.
