Professor Foerster is truly a gem. Shes such a sweet lady and is very understanding. Shes really smart and knows what shes talking about and tries to make each class interesting and fun. Most of the class is discussion based with about 3 papers due throughout the semester. The class was interesting, I would definitely take her again. Love her

I loved this course and Professor Foerester. the class was really interesting or eye-opening. Also, she actually puts in grades. My one complaint is the class was 3 hours which is so long and I would've liked it more if it was 2 classes for an hour and a half.

Professor Foerster is by far my favorite professor I have ever had and recommend her to everyone. She is very clear in the assignments and a very fair grader. I'm a business major but would love to take more of her classes.

I absolutely adore professor Foerster. She is quirky and nerdy but an excellent teacher nonetheless. She leads interesting discussions which make you actually think and gives fun assignments such as taking photos of and profiling neighborhoods. I recommend her, two thumbs up!!

although I really like her. I think her EXPENSIVE textbook readings are totally useless and boring. Class is totally engaging and interesting though, which is a huge plus. I really wish she would not rely on dry, data-driven textbooks, it really ruined most of my classes with her.

I'm currently taking her Pop Culture and Social Change class and it is a writing enhanced course. If you are not one for writing, then be warned, the assignments might seem a little overwhelming. But if you just do your work and stay motivated, you will do well in this class. Foerster is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! It is worth it

Take SOC 102 if you're an in-class participator! 70% of grade is classwork, which are group projects that aren't difficult. Weekly reading. Optional final if you don't like your grade thus far. 1 paper. Really insightful class, you'll learn a LOT! She's a great professor, highly recommended.

I am easily amused. Contrary to popular belief that she is pompous and elisit, I think she is a sweetheart! I took her class several years ago..She's incredibly kind though she doesn't give easy A, I have so much respect for her as a prof. I enjoyed her lectures immensely - veru interesting!

She really seems sweet at first but in a discreet way has a nastyness about her. I believe she would be better at research as she has no control over class. She spends alot of time on the first day of classes disscusing rules but yet she seems not to have control over a out spoken class that has no respect for peers.

I took her two years ago with Henthorne. I know if I took her alone my A would have been a B (which would've been unjustified.) Some of the articles are interesting but her attitude towards the curriculum is much too "eurocentric." Not a good professor, would make a better researcher. Pompous, elitist,unrefined, and a know it all.
