I would encourage the reader to look up the term "Pedantic", which describes professor Vadul perfectly. The problem that I see is that he focuses on too many trivial details that are irrelevant to the subject (operating systems). I

I also took CS152 with professor Vadul. Don't listen to any bad post "only lazy students don't like him".He is great, helpful and fair.He knows the material and the subject very well. If you do your work, you will get good grade. MUST TAKE

do not take him. He never responds in under a week. His notes are wrong and blames you for not being caught up. He goes missing for weeks and posts six chapters before the end of the semester expecting you to finish.
