Fast-paced class, you have to do a lot of work to get a decent grade if you don't have a lot of French experience. Lots of homework online, but you can use notes for quizzes, midterm, and the final. He really cares and is usually available outside of class. Likes to tell stories in class, but lectures are sometimes difficult to keep up with.

Super Professor! Dr. Moine is super chill and easy going. He's understanding and nice about practically everything. For the Humanities 391 course I took you do write a few papers but they're super easy to do since a lot of them are your views/opinions/summaries.

If you don't have a lot of money for books, I would not recommend taking a class with Dr. Moine. These books are expensive and there's sometimes more than one. There's also a lot of busy work, and he's not helpful with questions or technical difficulties. Also not very understanding.

Professor Moine is a very entertaining professor so, the classes were definitely worth attending. However, your attendance didn't help with understanding grammar concepts. He assigns a lot of work, but is fair and grants extensions and/or extra time if needed. He's an awesome person, but definitely expect to work for the grade.

Most of the work for the class is online but it will take you hours at a time to finish exercise portion of each chapter because it has 50 or more questions each. I took French before in high school for 4 years but for a beginners French I think it was pretty tough. He doesn't know much about the technical problem but he will give you an extension.

Great prof! Really cares about his students! So enthusiastic and really interesting. He's from France so it was great taking him! I've had 6 years of French before & I took this class for an easy A - worth it because everything is online including quizzes and tests. But it really is a lot of material - get ready to spend a sold 5 hours per chapter

Awesome professor! He genuinely cares about explaining things you don't understand. His assignments are online which is nice because it is fairly easy, but also because the website actually helps you learn the material. Would definitely take again!!!

He's really nice and your exams are all online, you even get three attempts to both your exams and tests. He's work isn't hard at all. I passed with an A and will take him again if I have to.

The work load for this class was ridiculously heavy. But it is a 300 level language course. But be prepared to work out of 4 workbooks, online exams, essays every week, and MyFrenchlab exercises, and then a memoire which is 50% of your grade.

Dr. Moine is a good professor and teaches the language well and introduced lots of culture with his lessons. I still can't understand students who say: "He speaks 100% of the time French. Don't take him." It's a language course. What do you expect????

Dr. Moine is the Best French Prof. on Campus. He is very attentive to students pleas, he ALWAYS has time to help out and make things easy for you. He is funny too in his own way. This guy is talented! He was born to teach, it comes natural for him. Take him, you will end up loving French even more.

Dr. Moine is a nice guy, very understanding about late assignments (papers and homework) his class is a little scattered at times and sometimes hard to follow. Homework assignments seem last minute but he gives plenty of time for papers and for the semester project. If you study the book and ask questions you should have no problem

Tells great stories, very enthusiastic, funny, charming - however, not a great professor at higher level French. I also had him for 202, which wasn't bad. Thinks one example is sufficient for explaining something, too strict on grading (though it does inspire you to do better, it brings your grade down). I'm dropping my minor now :(

He doesn't teach all the material he puts on his exams. He started out strong but then seemed to get really lazy. He is not horrible but he is not the greatest either.

he has a great personality. tries to make class fun, but hardly succeeds. however, when it comes to the actual learning in his classes, he is not a good teacher at all. he gives no partial credit to mistakes. if you're a beginner...good luck. he is not good at teaching the language. he goes very fast as well and speaks french 100% of the time.

Very friendly and professional. It is easy to get an A if you do the assigned work and attend class regularly. If you show that you are a serious student he will be serious with you. He was very helpful with a problem that I had.
