I got B+ and this is my review. Wow.... where to begin?.. Dude needs to take a power point lesson. He's hard to understand, has a bad attitude, is distracting during labs, and has poor teaching skills. I think he forgot that we pay him, not the other way around.

He doesn't just hand out free marks but he is fair. I found his lectures interesting. He has been in tech fields since way before you were born and he finds ways to interestingly relate his experiences to the material. The first test seemed extremely hard but I suspect that's to weed out people who aren't serious about the course. It gets easier.

He's an awsome professor. He cares for his students. Sometimes it is hard to understand him, but if you go to him for any help, he will help you. HE KNOWS EVERYTHING! He's been in the computer field since it has started, and he knows everything about it. Great teacher, especially with a smaller class ;)

Great teacher.. knows his stuff and very helpfull if you have a problem. The class is very straight forward and easy. The last task is to rebuild a PC. And if you cant do that, then you should not be in HWD.

Well this is a very easy class for sure. But the Mr.Berns is not helpful enough and his slides and lectures stink. make sure you have a good msn list or start a facebook account if you dont have one to pass the time.

Worst teacher ever! He made an easy class like Hwd101 very difficult. There was only one person in the course that had an A. The rest were all Bs and Cs. HWD101 is suppose to easy and majority of the people in this class should get an A. If you want a good grade in an easy class like HWD101 then don't take class with Andre Berns.

This individual is very un-intelligent in his field and should really be fired right away. He is about 65 years old for crying out loud and is still teaching at a very poor level. He is not open for hepfulness, insults quite a lot of students and is overall a very unapproachable person. He has been a very disrespectful person from day one and on.

Old teacher that should have took retirement a while ago. He knows his stuff but he has BORING lectures and just skims through his PSTs . . He doesn’t really help you when approached and doesn’t know the first thing about teaching. STAY AWAY!!!!

Andre Berns is by far the worst prof I have ever had. He does not explain anything he teaches, he misses important points, and he doesnt teach any of the very basic fundamental facts that are required for understanding PC hardware. How anyone can learn anything from this man is beyond me, and how he even still has a job is even more mind boggling
