The class is rather misleading, only the 2nd half of the class is actually relevant to the course title, Green Design. The first half is spent discussing environmental problems and theories. Initially, not very clear, although if you ask for clarification, he's glad to elaborate. It's not extremely difficult, but if you do the work you'll get an A

Worst ever!! Took Green Design and had to drop halfway through. He doesn't teach anything and just talks about other peoples theories. He assigned us to read 4 entire books before we even made it through half of the semester. The worst professor/ teacher I have ever experianced

I took Green Design with him and he knew almost nothing about the subject. The syllabus suggested that we would be learning practical applications for green design but we spent the first half of the semester learning about the theories of environmental problems. The second half of the class, he never taught, we had guest speaker constantly.

Its a shame that professor Angyal is on phased-retirement because he is one of the best that Elon has to offer. If you take his classes though be prepared you will work hard but if you do, 9 times outta 10 Angyal will give you a good grade. Not to mention when you leave his class you will actually know much more about your subject.

Worst professor I've had here yet. Went to Alaska for his class. Never have I met anyone as self centered, controlling, and rude. When we talked to locals he actually tried to correct them on events they had actually lived through. Do not take a class with him, and do not go on a trip with him. You'll want your money back.

The man is strange. I have him for ENS 372 and he assigned 7 textbooks!!! Yep, 7. But the funny thing is he gave us summaries of all the readings so I really didnt have to buy them. And when he assigns projects, dont expect him to tell you what you have to do just take the shotgun approach and talk a lot and you should be fine.

he is unclear, unrealistic, has his own agenda and doesn't really care about students. He is very knowledgable but should not be a professor. Dr Angyal's Food & Cultuer class was a lot of fun. There were a couple little disappointments, but I can't complain. We talked about food, went out to eat a couple times, watched documentaries about food, and read about food. It was a lot of fun.

I'm an ENG major and this guy was THE worst professor I've had in the department.One of the most inflexible people I have ever met. He's old and will never change his ways. He is unclear in class,and has graded my work unfairly. If you don't agree with him he will take points off. He thinks all the students are idiots and blames us for everything.
