2 easy 1 page essays. he thoroughly explains all his lectures/graphs so don't miss class or you'll be confused. quizzes are annoying but help prepare for exams. multiple choice questions are easy, beware of short response questions (worth 1/4 of exam grade). used study guide a few times in class, but don't buy it use online version instead.

Very friendly professor and always excited to teach. Show up to class and take notes and you will defiently be fine. His quizzes and test are base on the notes. Writing papers are a challenge but tutoring center helped a lot.

Not really what I expected. As much as a caring and kind professor he seems to be, I really REALLY hope that he decides to finally curve the grades and drops the lowest quiz score because even trying my best to prepare for the quizzes are difficult enough already to bring down my grade. And I am super SUPER worried to find out my grade. Thank you!!

Professor Gill is honestly one of the best professors Ive ever had. Dont get me wrong this class isnt easy however professor Gill does a great job of teaching a difficult and somewhat dry topic for some. His lectures are always clear and easy to understand. No attendance however his lectures are all done on the whiteboard. Dont buy the book!

Amazing professor. By far probably the best I have had in my years going here. I truly recommend taking his class! Really have to study the notes every day or before the next lecture. It's not too hard and the tests are easy as long as you do this study method. I did not use the study guide but he did use it in class every once in a while. No book

I'm a humanities major, so I expected this class to really suck. However, Professor Gill makes the subject super interesting and easy to understand. He mostly lectures, but he gives plenty of examples to help students understand the material. He's also super hilarious. I would definitely recommend taking his class!

PROFESSOR GILL IS THE BEST! I really enjoyed his class. Every time he lectured I felt like I was being told a story. He ties in real life experiences to help you understand the material. He's also super funny. I didn't do as well as I'd like to on my first midterm, but I went to his office hours and he was really helpful. Ended up with an A-.

Dr. Gill is an amazing professor. One of the best I've come across at CSUF. He is very knowledgeable on the lessons he teaches and provides relatable examples, which makes the lessons interesting and easy to understand. The only down side is he's not really clear on how he grades papers so be careful with your word choices. I would take him again.

An absolutely amazing professor, one of the best I've ever had. His love and interest in the subject makes his lectures great to listen to, and he really helps you understand the underlying concepts and wants to make sure you really learn from his class. It isn't easy, but well worth the trouble in my opinion.

Professor Gil was a great professor. His style of teaching is very different from other professors. His lectures are pretty dry and sometimes his handwriting isn't legible which makes it harder to take notes in. His exams are all in blue books and makes it hard to get an A. He has many quizzes that are also not the same content that he teaches.

Absolutely the best professor. Took his Econ504 and 595. Super patient, kind-hearted, understanding, responsible, chill, treats EVERY student very nice. He always concerns about if you guys are learning and what he can do to improve/help. Make sure you know everything on the study guide, and the lab, then you are good. Andrew GillAngel Gill :D

The class consists of 2 midterms, a final, 2 writing assignments, and quizzes. The quizzes are EASY.. He gives study guides for the exams. His lectures are very clear and interesting. Nicest professor I've had.

Who gives blue book exams with so much detail needed for a intro class. Take him if this is your major. I would not recommend him if you are just taking this class because its required.

Good professor, didnt do well the first time and took him again for the same class, that should say alot. 3 tests free response, can be tedious but just make sure you know his study guide. Hes always in his office and is very helpful. 2 papers and 5 quizzes, no homework, dont need the book unless you want more clarity, Hes funny and a good teacher.

Professor Gill is an amazing professor probably the best at CSUF, he's like a really cool grandfather I'd never had, he's stories are really interesting and it really connects to Econ. His respects his students a lot and is always there to help. His quizzes are multiple choices which I thought was easy but the exams need to be detailed.

Perhaps the best professor I had at CSUF. He has a genuine passion for the subject and labor is his wheelhouse. Excellent lecturer with great knowledge of the subject. If you want to have an expert and learn in depth about labor take Gill. He wrote my LOR's for law school and they were superb. Cares about students and about the dept.

Very nice, understandable, and doable! His tests are a little tough, but thats because they are not multiple choice. You need to explain ALL your answers. Lectures are very helpful and you do need the study guide, but not really the actual text book. He posts NOTHING online so you either go to class or miss the whole lecture. He wants you to pass!

Straight A student here. He gave me my first C. His exams are tough and require alot of time/effort. Not my first choice of Econ professors but he fit in with my work schedule. He is a nice guy but his exams are tough especially since there are no homework assignments to practice.
