His classes was the hardest class Ive ever had and it was only a gen ed. If you arent interested in mass media do no take the class, everything will make no sense. He makes the class harder than it has to be.

As a professor, Rudd was tough. He graded hard and expected a lot of his students. I didn't quite do as well as I would have hoped, but I deserved the grade I got. As a person, Rudd is one of the most delightful people I have ever met. He inspires me to think critically about media and to enjoy the beauty in art.

If you enjoy engaging, somewhat challenging professors, you will love Andrew. He is incredibly passionate about his courses. Funny, relatable, and a little eccentric. His quirks really help give the class character. If you pay attention and contribute to discussions, you will do well in his class.

Dude straight ballin". THe most engaging professor I have ever known, and the way he runs the class allows students to contribute heavily to the lecture. He single handedly, in a lot of ways, taught me to view the world differently through understanding people.

I hated this class. Be prepared to spend between 2-4 hours a week watching movies OUTSIDE of class. Also all of the movies are in different languages so you have to sit and "read the movie" the whole time. Also you have 2 journal entries due every week and a huge project that his is very vague about. Overall I have nothing good to say about him.

Fun professor, a little hard to follow and a little vague in what is expected in assignments and course as a whole. But super fun, willing to help, and keeps you from dozing off

Professor Rudd has a magic quality about him- his structured spontaneity & "chaotic" order was disseminated in such a way that we could actually SHARE in some portions of his knowedge and retain what was vital. Many profs are smart, not all know how to teach. Prof Rudd taught me not only about Comm, but about Life.

His class can be hard at times, but he's willing to help w/ anything if you ask. He explains better one on one than in a class setting. Honestly he's the coolest prof out there. Not fashionably (although he does have that) but as a human being. You can't get better than him. Honestly I would not still be in college if it weren't for him.

very down to earth. sometimes removed from large classes but has uncanny desire to get close to the passionate. excellent professor, try a little harder to connect to the hard to connect to students.

Quite possibly the coolest person alive. A-rudd is the only person I know that could wear a suit jacket that does not match his tie along with flip flops to class and get away with it cuz he is the creator of fashion.

I count Andrew as one of my friends. He's a gift from God--even if he can't organize his lecture and expectations to save his life. I felt frustrated not knowing what he wanted, but he's SO willing to help. I read his blog all the time. His kids and wife are cute, too.

Andrew is one of two favorite professors I've ever had. He goes above and beyond what I expected a prof to do and shows genuine concern for his students. I wish more professors were like him.
