He gives you slides and lecture notes so between the two of those it is pretty clear what material is examinable. He is pretty funny, so morning lectures aren't as bad. But, study hard. His exam was tough and pressed me for time.

Best microbiologyimmu prof I've had at Dal. Very funny, upbeat, and well spoken. Got across some more tricky concepts with ease. Extremely quick email reply and offered some great help outside of class. Not like most profs that answer a question quickly and move on, Stadnyk takes the time.

He would go back and go over lectures he already did again, and so by the time his midterm rolled around we had covered only four lectures. Basically, he never has a lot of content on his exams, which are fair. He has written notes, and he only tests from those, so you never need to take notes, but he explains things well so worth it to go.

Stadnyk was well organized, and provided complete lecture notes to students. In lecture, he touched on all of the outlined points in the notes and then elaborated on some for clarity. Very effective communicator. He throws out some jokes for comic relief as well. Test was simplistic, and fairly easy. Stadnyk is one of my favorite professors.
