Tried to take a 100-level GEOG class over Winter to knock out the Diversity requirement. Not only does she expect you to buy Wiley Plus, but she expects you to record videos and submit them for credit. I don't own a webcam, and do not trust the professor or the university to understand the security risks they present. Dropped class due to this.

very political If you dont agree with her VERY far left views then its best not to comment in class. good lecturer though plenty of grades Map tests suck because you MUST spell the countries correctly. No word bank or anything. Geography in the news is a waste of time. Shes ok, many wont like her. Only prof teaching 120 at Millersville sadly

She is a very sweet woman, but she often injects politics into the course which can get old depending on where you lean. When discussing current events, the classroom teetered on the brink of war for some people. Tests are pretty easy; half of the answers come from an optional online review activity and the other half comes from her PowerPoints.

Dr. Cuthbert is such an intelligent, kind, and caring professor. I recommend her Human Geo course to everyone! She is Canadian and has some really cool stories about her living in Canada. Also, she has a farm and grows her own food. Overall, she's amazing and you should soooOoo take her classes

I took online Human Geography over Winter Session. She made us do webcam videos! Winter session has to be very condensed so there were a lot of discussions (be prepared to get political) and grades right on top of another. Sometimes tests were only available on a Saturday or Sunday which was annoying because I have a job. Otherwise, she was great.

Dr. Cuthbert is a really nice lady, I'm not a big fan of her subject so I wouldn't take her again. She's too political, so maybe that's good if you lean extremely far to the left. She drops your lowest test and 3 lowest homework assignments which is really nice of her. Overall okay teacher, her lectures weren't the best. But good enough to pass

Must show up for class as she grades on attendance and participation. Geography in the news is required to pass or you may as well drop it. 7 exams but all are about 2 chapters and lead to a higher grade. Overall, Dr. Cuthbert is a great professor and will work with you outside of class no problem.

Overall easy class and great professor for teaching the subject. She has an extremely diverse class room that draws in a lot of majors for the requirement the class I took fills. The problem I have is if you question what or how she teaches something she does not take kindly to it. She will opening belittle you whenever you disagree.

You will write a lot, but it isn't as bad when you only really write about sports. You do class debates which are very interesting, and group projects are helpful for when you don't understand certain things. Fun class, fun professor. A little tough on trading, very particular but just do what she asks of you.

Dr. Cuthbert is truly an amazing professor. I recommend her to anyone who is willing to work for their grade. She will let you come to her office at any time by appointment, she will explain every assignment to you and tell specifically what she wants, and she grades fairly. Truly a great professor.

Dr. C is a great professor who is really passionate about what she teaches. The only problem is that the class will be super confusing if you're not majoring in--or majorly interested in--the subject as well. The class isn't hard per se, but it's very dense in material and studying is REQUIRED.

human geog was the worst class ive ever taken. 3 hour long lecture downtown. she uses wileyplus online and the grading SUCKS. she teaches by literally reading from the material from the online book. avoid the class if you can.

She is difficult but extremely helpful, she will even review your assignments and tell you how to fix it. She is a great teacher and I would definitely recommend her. There are 4 exams and 3 assignments. Take extremely detailed notes and study from the book! You will have to work hard for an A but it's not impossible. She takes attendance.

Make sure you attend every class and write down everything! You will need very good notes to study for the tests. Dr. Cuthbert is willing to help when students have questions. She also provides great study guides. Ask her what she wants to see on the tests before you take the first test. If you take good notes, you'll be fine.

Good teacher, grades pretty tough for it being a largely Gen. ed. class. No complaints though, if you take the notes that she writes on the board and look at the textbook for the 'homework' questions, you should get a B on the tests. The assignments aren't too bad either, they're just weighted pretty heavily.

Super nice and full of energy. She doesn't like the textbooks for this course so she uses lectures/powerpoints. Very helpful and class is fun! Neat Canadian accent to boot. Recently married, so keep that in mind if that matters to you. The class can be hard if you don't put in the effort to do the assignments or study for exams, so keep up!
