One of the best professors I've ever had! She explains everything throughly and give examples which really helps remembering certain things. I would definitely take her again and I recommend her to everyone!

Comment:

Professor Tigner is one of the professors that youll never forget. She is so funny and overall a great professor. She grades fairly, teaches well and gives extra credit for most tests. Glad to have had the pleasure of taking child development with her.

I have taken Dr Tigner 3x due to her style of teaching, attitude towards it, and fairness. Though she is tough, it is worth it. She doesnt take crap. You certainly leave the class learning, and understanding psychology in a way you can apply to your own life. One of the best professors Ive ever had! If you wanna learn, take Tigner.

I truly believe that Dr Tigner may be the greatest teachers I have had in my life so far. Whenever the I am getting ready for class, I get a feeling that is beyond motivation. Whenever the time comes to actually walk into her classroom and learn, I become ecstatic. I honestly want to express how thankful I am for her. 350 characters isnt enough!

Prof tigner is hands down the best prof ive ever had. She is very energetic and makes the class interesting. I never found myself dozing off in her class. She gives alot of opportunities to raise your grade, and she wants all her students to be successful in her class. Just dont be on your phone during her lectures, pay attention and youll pass.

She is awesome. You're missing out if you do not take her. Take home quiz every week, super easy. Class discussions and 3/4 movies. Harder to not get an A than it is to get one. Funny, young and hot. Hates cell phone use in class. Respect her and she'll respect you back. Great class, boost GPA.

Going into psych because of her. Makes neuro-psy seem fairly easy. Take her class, participate, study for tests and read the text ahead of time! Work varies but she does do takehome exams/quizzes every so often. If there's an issue about ANYTHING talk to her! I'd have gotten a better grade but I had personal stuff, she makes getting an A VERY easy!

It's a hard class but having her as my professor made it easier. She knows how to explain something to you until it sinks in. Plus she's very knowledgeable. In my notes I'd have a "fun facts" section, you learn about brain & behavior and so much more. She's also very energetic so you won't fall asleep during her lecture.

Dr. Tigner is really awesome. Took her class for Psychology (LifeSpan) and she was amazing. She is very clear on her vignettes (papers) and all her quizzes are take home. For your vignettes be specific, includes details and share your experiences. This will make it more fun for you to write them and get your 10 on them. Take good notes, it helps.

Professor Tigner is really awesome. She always reviews for the exams and gives quizzes that go towards extra credit points. She's always encouraging participation and she makes the lectures very engaging. She's strict on phones so don't use it during class.

Dr. Tigner is inspirational, and an amazing teacher. Taken her for 201, 203, and now 220 and if I weren't graduating I'd take her for more psych classes. Read the textbook, take notes (even random things she may add), she gives extra credit quizzes too. She makes her class a family in a way, and she's more caring than any other prof I've ever had.

truly an amazing professor! i took her for general psych and thats what made me take her child develop. offers a lot of extra credit. keeps her lectures entertaining and she is hilarious but she still teaches you all the information you need. 4 tests 50 multiple choice bases on notes. textbook is good to have just in case. does review for tests

Amazing professor. Extremely knowledgable. She gives a lot of extra credit. 5 tests all multiple choice. She's really fun and keeps the class interesting every single minute of the class. Do NOT use your phone in this class. Read textbook in advance-not a necessity but REALLY helpful.
