Comment:

This class was the hardest thing I have ever done & made me stay up late almost every night. You have to study for each exam 3-4 weeks before and you will still feel unprepared. I did learn a lot in this class; however, other professors were just as good and much easier. His class gave me crazy test anxiety and you cannot understand a word he says

4 exams are your only grade. Does curve the tests. It is impossible to cram for his exams, be prepared to STUDY a lot. Must buy the textbook. His exams are very detail oriented, don't skip anything he tells you will be on the test. There are no surprise questions. Be prepared to WORK for your grade.

Class is boring and seems hard but tests are straight forward from the textbook. He is an interesting person, has an accent but not hard to understand. Need to study a lot if you want to do well because it is a lot of content.

Im sure professor Datt is a great person, his class was not my favorite. Most of class consists of him telling page numbers we need to study and showing us figures in the book that we have no understanding of. The only grades in the class are tests and they are DIFFICULT. Start studying right after lecture.

Datt is super tough. But not impossible, like many of these reviews imply. You MUST put time into this class. Like many things in life, you get what you put into it. If you study the material he tells you to, you will be fine. Performing well on Datt's exams is one of the best feelings. Take the challenge. 3 words: location, location, location.

Dr. Datt is an overall good person but I have no idea why he is a professor. Uses projector slides from 10 years ago and only gives you pages in the textbook to memorize on your own time. The only way to pull up your grade from the 4 tests is by answering bonus questions that the whole class fights for. Do not take him, save your GPA.

By far the worst teacher I've ever had. Rude/strict for no reason & makes you feel dumb if you ask a question in class. Has a very thick accent that is hard to understand. All of your notes are from 100+ diagrams in the textbook but there are no diagrams on the exam so you have to teach yourself everything. DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO NOT TAKE HIM

Datt was overall a good teacher but lacked in how to test and how to communicate. He lectures heavily on the pictures in the book but does not test on them during his exams. So cross studying between is something you will have to teach yourself. He is very unwilling to help you with questions on how to improve your grade and study techniques.

Take Datt for micro bio! I was so nervous as I had never had him freshman year and heard that he was hard for A&P but I have done well in this class. He is very straightforward about what you need to know. As long as you stay organized and make sure you are studying all of the material presented, the tests should be exactly what you would expect.

the only notes you take are page numbers in the textbook. he never explains anything. only take this class if you have a lot of available time to teach yourself because that is what you will have to do.

He is a nice person, but a difficult professor. Make sure youre studying at every free moment you have. His tests include VERY specific concepts that he may not spend much time explaining in class. You will definitely need the textbook in this class.

How well you do depends on how hard youre willing to work,He gives you page numbers of figures in the textbook. The best way to study is to write these down during class and after each class, make a study guide of the pages, then study all this material. LOTS of info,exam questions come straight from hereinted notes Wording on test isn't tricky.

You will fail if you don't go to class. Don't bother studying for the exam until after the exam review class, which usually is the class right before. He teaches so much information and then takes it all out and goes "It's 2018". Very funny with random commentary. Loves talking about how the moon landing was fake. Good guy, just quirky.

Datt teaches what he believes you need to know to be a nurse. He teaches off of figures in the textbook, so try and buy it so you can write in it and also use it in BIO 244. There are only three exams and the final. Around 15 people make 100 (or above!) each exam. Some make 30s but it is because they do not study. StudyingA great grade.

Honestly, I was really worried about Datt going into the class, but he's not that bad. Test are VERY straight forward but its a lot of material. He's intimidating but sometimes he's super funny. Tests are word-for-word of the textbook and the notes, but if you recognize it, you will do fine. Generously curves tests also.

There are no surprise questions that'll be on the exams. Everything is in the material given, it is just an insane amount of material you'll have to study. Never worked harder in a class. Only grades are 3 exams and the final, with bonus points given everyday in class but are extremely hard to get. Study weeks in advance.

Datt was a difficult professor. You need to bring your textbook to every class. You can answer questions in class for bonus points, but they aren't easy questions. He tells you exactly what will be on his tests, but it's a lot of info. Study days in advance. 3 exams and a final. He makes you work for it, but an A is achievable.

He's a good professor who tells you exactly what you need to study for each exam, but you HAVE to go to class every day and bring your textbook! The material is all memorization anyway so it's hard to tell whether Datt is hard or the material, but the tests are very straightforward (all multiple choice). You just have to study to memorize it all.

Nice guy who loves his students but has a heavy accent. 3 tests and a final is your grade. Attendance is required. You must bring the book everyday but he tells you exactly what will be on each exam but this might be 30 pages of info. If you study hard in ADVANCE you can get an A. He curves his tests to help.

This is the hardest class I have taken. The material itself is not hard, but his exams are very specific as to where you need to know every word on his notes and in his textbooks. Only graded on 3 exams and then the final. Reads straight off his notes which are straight out of the text book. Do well on the first 3 exams because the final is brutal
