Very intelligent and very interesting. You can learn a lot from this man. He is well rounded and he lets you out of class early when the weather is nice. Take his classes! You will do fine as long as you go to class and pay attention.

This class was the easiest A I had in all my college experience. Really smart man, and laid back. He gave great examples in class so you're able to relate material. Doo the homework!!! Read the chapters and study, you'll do fine.

BEST ECO PROF EVER! he's so inlove with econ. with lots lof jokes! just a midterm/final, a couple of nonsense quizzes and hw's...a great day out means you get out of class early....sometimes boring but he tries to get away from that....RECOMMENDED!!!

Very nice.Funny. Very helpful.Tests are ok just study your notes and read a little. Always get out early.Knows his stuff. A great teacher. I hate econ and I have failed it a couple times but with him I actually learned and he is always trying help.

Macro is just hard. He definitely knows his stuff. Good teacher, but the subject matter is complicated. I think Basu is great! His sense of humor helps take some of the pressure off understanding the mind racking subject of Marcoeconomics.

Very Funny, Explains Econ in Laymans terms. Best to ask questions in class rather than after because he likes everyone to hear and doesn't like to stay after, plus he lets you out early, often. Great teacher!
