When you do your 1st speech , she will rip into you, sorry every speech you do she will rip into you, but she grades really easy, gives helpful tips and wants students to do well, dont come late and dont miss class its an Easy A if you just do what she says / BUT she talks ALOT be prepared. NO NOTES NO BOOK JUST LISTEN AND WATCH OTHERS AND LEARN

May seem harsh at first but when you get your grades back, you'll be surprised at how lenient she actually is. Speeches are not too diffcult. Overall, I'd recommend her to anyone, the only problem is getting up for a 7 am class to give a speech is not always the easiet thing to do. And, I'm a girl and I agree that she's hot too so yeah... lol

She's a great professor. Class is early, but she makes it interesting once you get there. The hard part is getting up. Do more speeches than any other class and they're always much longer. If you want to learn anything about public speaking, take her. She also has an awesome british accent!

The best public speaking teacher at Pace. Yes, it's an early class. Yes, it's a lot of work. But it is all worth it because you actually learn something! If you want to excel in public speaking, I absolutely recommend taking her class!

Shes not that bad; she's late sometimes though. This class is alot of work, speeches every single week and sometimes you have to even spend $ to do your speeches. She is down to earth but just make sure your ready to really take a 7am class that actually requires doing work.

Really great professor. She will make you work but she is helpfull. At first I could not talk in public at all but as time went on I got better thanks to her. I did enjoy her class too bad it was sooo early in the morning.

I dunno about that harsheness comment. She seems to be lenient if you just show up and do your work as scheduled. It's the no-shows that she doesn't accept, especially not presenting work even after a make-up time has been offered.

She's not as great as her rating makes her seem. She takes pleasure in embarrassing you if you are unprepared or missed your turn to speak--even if you have legitimate reasons, i.e. medical. Doesn't allow any make up speeches, so be prepared each time. Overall, she's pretty good. But could be a bit nicer.

LOTS OF WORK!!! She gives 6 speeches. Tell you what you should do and how she grades you. However, if she favors you then you will get a higher grade compare to a person who did way more work. Do 4 mini speeches grades 3 only=30%, 1 informative and persuasive speech. Requires outlines, powerpoint, and video tape you. DO NOT BE LATE. 7AM CLASS!!!

She give a good amount of work in this class. About 6 speeches and 2 written test. So far, she seem lenient in the class. But there sure is lot of preparation I have to do before class. I rather pick her because even though she gives lots of work at least she is lenient while others professors are the opposite.

She made goals clear from the beginning, and stuck to the syllabus. If you follow her guidelines, its easy to get an A or B in a class. I HATE speeches, but Im glad I took this class!
