Great class to get an overview on live theater. You will learn and you will have to read the book in order to study for tests. She is so funny...makes the best jokes and almost always lets class leave early. Will retire after this school year. Must attend 3 live theater events. Play for points (extra credit). Not bad for a fine arts req.

Okay dont let ppl tell you this class is an easy A because it is NOT. By no means is it a chem class but you still have to work hard to get an A. Her tests are extremely difficult and she purposely makes them difficult. If you want the extra credit you MUST go to class. I got an A but I serioulsy had to study for her tests.

can you say CRAZY! She never showed up to class and the class was a waste of time! All we did was talk about sex and how she likes to try differnt things to snort and her favorite thing is nutmeg! WEIRD. Very unorganized and a pain to go to her class because we never did anything but attendence was important

This woman is CRAZY but is definitely an interesting character. Tests are hard, she'll tell you that herself, but she gives 100's on response sheets pretty much no matter what you put and she offers a good bit of extra credit. I don't like theatre at all but its an easy A and you don't really have to go to class.

I love ole' Ann. She is one crazy old bird, but she is great. FUNNY and not afraid to say anything. She loves what she does! She wrote the book that she uses and her lectures is just her recall of what she worte. You really don't have to attend classes, just read the book and attend the plays, but I found myself going for the comic relief in life.

wonderful teacher. very interesting and very funny. always entertaining. just memorize key notes and plays/playwrights in the book and do play for points and you're golden. easy A but she will make you have fun for it. she is the best teacher i've ever had!

OMG. this was one of the bests classes ever. it was so easy. all you have to do is show up and atleast pretend to be interested and give an effort. we had one quiz the first week, and then our exam was a play for kids. it was awesome.

Boring to listen to and if your not interested in Theater its boring to study.Memorize EVERYTHING in the book!!! Only real problem are the tests. Instead of asking questions about the topics she discussed, she asked questions like "Who edited the 1960s version of some play?" A topic that was one sentence in the book and not even mentioned in class

Very fun class! Easy A if you come to class and play for points. Only assignments are to go to a play and write a review of it. Tests are kind of tough but just read the book and you will be fine. You will laugh your butt off during class; at her and the students trying to act. Ann Dreher's laugh is hilarious too; quite Slingbladeish! Take it!

If you want an easy A and to be entertained as well, take this class. This lady is as crazy as they come, but it was never a dull class. She gives mucho extra credit during class. For the tests, read the book, which in total is like 110 pages long, and pay attention to the italisized words.

I went to this class like three times. If you get bad grades on the tests (which are pretty hard and basically question you on random things in the book) you should go to class because she gives out ridiculous amounts of bonus points. Take her, she's not that bad.
