Ann is absolutely amazing, totally radical and such an activist. She knows EVERYTHING in philosohpy and feminist theory, and is such an inspiration. She is very argumentative and WILL challenge you. Excellent!!!

she's absolutely awful, a travisty to education. she doesnt want to teach you to broaden your mind. she teaches what she wants everyone to think. i suppose she's nicer if you're a woman or radically liberal. however, she has absolutely no tolerance for students who have differing opinions from hers...how incredibly hippocritical for a "liberal"

The class is extremely boring. It's not that difficult to get a decent grade, as long as u write two term papers and take the mditerm. Class seems to be optional (half the people are never there) and she is really boring to listen to. If you are interested in debate, then maybe take it.

ann is a sort of eccentric but undoubtalby brilliant. we are lucky she's here at umass. she's politically active and has a wide breadth of philosophical knowledge. you'll learn alot, tho don't expect to be spoon-fed. highly recommened.
