She really cares about her students and them learning the material. Her lectures are very clear and she provides an outline online. The test are fair and she helps you know what to expect on them. The extra credit and bonus she gives is more than ample to help your grade. If you can, take her for accounting. She is a great professor.

acctounting is hard but shes makes it as easy as possible. you get extra credit for just going to class and if you go the class is an easy A. shes curves the tests (usually adds about 10 points) and then drops your lowest of the three. that plus the extra credit theres no way you should get below a B. TAKE HER!!!

mrs. mccarthy is one of the best professors i have had so far..I actually changed my major to accounting after taking her class. Accounting itself is very challenging, but she teaches it very well and always helps if you have any questions. go to every class, pay attention and do the assigned problems. Highly recommended for accounting majors!

she has high standards &honestly wants the best for her students not a math person so acct itself is hardbut she gives extra points for coming to class so there should be no way of failingdid well on teh first test and began to slack towards the end but still came out with a C she knows her material very well and teaches it well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great professor for Accounting-you dont have to read as much as she says you do. I never read the book, but just studied the problems and notes for the test. If you dont try in this class you will fail. excellent professor,I would definately take her again

Do not take her for Acct 2401 she wants you to Read Re-read and Re-read the chapters and also she wants you to do all the end of the chapter homework problems. Goes to fast at time. So if you have to take her be prepared to work to just earn a C.

She is a VERY good, extremely nice teacher. She will help you with anything! No attendence policy, but you get extra points for every class you go to. I ended up having 19 points extra credit added to my final grade, for doing almost nothing. I highly recommend, hated the class, but she's the best teacher for it.

She is only a hard teacher to those who do not put any effort into class. You HAVE TO GO TO CLASS to get an A---HELLO!!! if you are willing to go to class and do your homework you will get an A, no problem. She gives attendance points, curves on tests, easy quizzes and she even drops your lowest test score.. How many professor do that! A+ teacher!

If you have to take acct, get this teacher. She will stop class to get one person caught up if they don't understand. Attendance points are great, drops the lowest test grade and has all course materials prepared for you, all you have to do is try. A+ teacher I highly recommend her!
