I don't know why people consider Dr. Rushing as a tough professor, because her motive definitely isn't to ruin your grade. The class is fair, and as long as you READ THE BOOK attentively, you will surely make an A in the class. If you need help, don't wait till the last minute. Be mindful of the test questions. The pattern is always the same :)

This professor was probably the worst teacher I have ever had. She is SO unapproachable and favors kids right and left. She DOES NOT drop test grades NOR curves them... even though the entire rest of my teachers did... including my honors professors. Her tests were IMPOSSIBLY hard and she is SO very intimidating and unwilling to help. Such a jerk!

Dr Rushing is a really nice woman, but her tests are IMPOSSIBLE! Unless you have a very good understanding of biology from AP Biology in high school, I would avoid taking her class. very nice lady, but her tests are a killer!!! plus, your grade is only figured by your test scores, so if you dont do well on them you are out of luck. if you do take her study a ton for her tests, because she likes to try and trick you with test questions.
