Comment:

Winters helped unleash my creativity in writing. The hybrid class started out rough, but around mid-term she began spilling her ideas all over the place. I feel I gotten more than what I paid for. Her ideas and tips were magical during lectures, she favored no one our class and teaches with passion.

She was my favorite professor yet! Some of the overall topics of our essays was hard to get to the point of but we were also the first class she had presented the assignment to. I do not enjoy English and I passed the class with an A! You show up and do what is expected and you will do great! She was always there for help and questions.

Honestly, she is extremely hard to understand. She always goes back and forth with everything and never gets to the point. The papers are very difficult, but in the end you learn a lot about them. If you think Comp was an easy A not with her. Very tough, but fair.

Extremely difficult class. If you would like to learn proper English and learn something then take her class. She will help you if you ask for help. You need to read ALL assignments and attendance is a must. You miss a class you will be lost! I loved her class! I got an A in her class.

She is very tough and sets the bar pretty high. But she will help you every step of the way, you just need to know what questions to ask her. She always responds to emails quickly. She's willing to sit down one on one and help you in any way. If you don't do well in her class, you only have yourself to blame.

She's a tough cookie to crack. She doesn't really explain things a lot, but when she does, it's just repitive. It seems that most of her past students passed her, but as she's getting old, she grades tougher. The more time you put into your paper, the lower grade you will recieve. Ive never recieved a C until I got to her class.

She was very hard. Never in her office during hours. It seemed no matter how hard they tried several of the students she seemed to be unfond of would get much lower grades than the others. She tends to grade on her opinion of your stance on issues in your paper, than an evaluation of the paper. Stay on her good side and this class isn't too bad.

This class is a tough one. I started out as the lowest grade in the class and was encouraged all the way to the only A in the class. She a great teacher with lots of incite. She cares about her students.She expects good attendance. I have used what I've learned from this class for a lot of things. It's best to learn important stuff from her.

Very helpful. Very tough also. She expects a lot from you, but she's also willing to help you get there. Her office door is always open if you need her. Good communication is needed to be sucessful in this class.Ask questions if you don't understand.
