Most knowledgeable Dr. in music dept. It took me a long time to finish my music degree but once I got my act together she was there for me whenever I needed her and provided valuable feedback-can come off intimidating. Will not placate you. Your success is dependent on self discovery and musical maturity.

I was expecting to breeze through her class. She was nice. Now I see that I was wrong. She gives you too much work and acts like everyone in the class is a music major. Nobody cares about the class and she does not understand that. I'll be glad when this semester is over because of her. Don't take her class.

This professor strongly believes that her class is the only one that you're taking. There is a virtually impossible workload. While she is approachable and willing to work with you, that does not make this course any less impossible when you're taking 18+ credit hours. DO NOT take her class unless you know what you're getting yourself into.

BEFORE YOU TAKE HER CLASS!!...be ready to work/read book/listen to the music/go to class as much as possible/take notes/and go to concerts...I've done all these things and still might not get an A. This lady does not understand that this is a general education requirement and also that her class is not the only one you're taking.

um... BOOOOOOOOOOORING!... the reason I failed... Not because i didn't do the work (well that, too) but because i just didn't care.
