Professor Marchant seems to genuinely care about students and their future. Her class was sometimes annoying because she wanted us to do something all the time!! I learned a lot and I think she is a great person. Use her as a counselor if she's stopped teaching. She's very helpful.

Great professor, one of the best! She isn't teaching any classes Spring '08 or later. If you didn't take her before, you lost your chance. She's listed to teach classes on PatriotWeb and the printed schedule of classes but she WILL NOT TEACH THOSE CLASSES.

Dr. Marchant teaches well and is very fair. I learned more in her class than I expected. She's a little stern and tough, but just keep up with assignments and you'll do Ok. She will recognize if you're trying hard and making the effort. She makes life easy for students who commit to good study habits and assignments turned in on time. She's OK!

Dr. Marchant is a great professor. Although her projects are nuuuuumerous, the scope is both fair and workable unlike ("you know who"/Lord Voldemort). I will give you a hint IT 221. The class is challenging and requires active engagement. Do that and an A is guaranteed. Remember, you will work for it and it will be worth it in the end.

In her class i felt it was no point of relying on the study guides she gives. The reason is because she gives questions that aren't on the study guide. Honestly i recommend to anybody taking her class to not only depend on the study guide but on everything she has gone over. I also recommend you record her lectures. It really helps believe me!!

I have her for an advisor as well. I work my way through school and don't have much time to sit down with advisors (let alone drive to PW campus) and she made sure all my paperwork was processed on time and pleasantly! much better than my prior majors incompetent advisors. I am having her for IT304 this fall, will rate her for that then.

Class isn't too bad, not a very hard grader either. Quizes, mid-term and final are not hard if you study and do the study guides. Had fun in class, learned a lot, and wasn't too hard. I recommend Mrs. Marchant and this class. She is also nice and helpful

Dr. Marchant is the best. Class was tough but not impossible. You'll have a presentation, research paper, webpage project, class participation pts., 2 quizzes, midterm and final. I learned a ton in her class, from her lectures and from the assignments. Be prepared to work hard and attend every lecture, it will be the only way to do well.

Very helpful and wonderful teacher. I highly recommend taking her rather than any other IT concentration teacher. Very knowledgeable and to the point. She is a stickler on grammar and punctuation. Overall, I'd take her again if I had to....
