This class was interesting, mostly because of her passion for the subject. She is a hard marker, and expects a lot. With that being said, she is fair and explains your grade well. The only disadvantage this round was that almost all heavily weighted course work was due at the end of session, making increasing/or anticipating end marks difficult.

McWhir is very interested in the subject of english and in this intro course that I was forced to take as a business student, she was enthusiastic and marked fairly. Her TAs were great and class was interesting

I really enjoyed this class. The material we covered was challenging and Dr. McWhir is a tough marker but it was a great course. My only complaint is that we didn't study enough Dorothy Wordsworth :)

man is she easy! no i don't mean to bed but just the thought of getting an average mark on first assignment that was done overnight and then going to talk to her a month later and she allowed me to redo the assignment and hand it in before lecture ends.

Without a doubt one of the best profs I've had. Once I got used to her energy and enthusiasm I really enjoyed her classes. She cares about the material and that enthusiasm rubs off. She also provides great help.
