Reads straight off lecture slides, giving no incentive to come to lecture except to ask questions (which you can do anyway on UWACE). This course was essentially distance education without the DE label. You are better off reading the thousands of books on databases your own if you are really interested in learning about this topic thoroughly.

I really enjoyed her knowledge and enthausim of the material. One issue I had is that my group got something remarked and we lost 10% on it, so if you are going to get something remarked, bring it to the TA. 5% goes to inclass marks, so attendence is somewhat mandatory. I really do like her interactive lecture style. She ended up knowing most ppl.

Same course as CS 480, just renamed. Contrary to all the negative comment, I think she's actually pretty good. Could be she read these comments and improved her knowledge of IT? She uses lots of examples to elaborate her points. She is the MOST ORGANIZED prof I've ever seen. In a course with so much to memorize I appreciate that she indents notes.

Prof makes learning environment intimidating by picking on students. Lecture notes are poor and hard to make sense of after-the-fact. The course itself is very dry (but fairly easy).
