Person below me--what the hell? Only liked students who worked above requirements? She was pretty fair to everybody all of the time. Who wouldn't like students who appear genuinely interested in classes and work hard? I'm sorry her style of teaching didn't acquiesce to the usual low, low LSUA standards that you are, evidently, used to.

Laid back class. She has a sense of humor and can be sidetracked into discussing other subjects. Uses students in funny examples to make point. Gives very few tests with very few questions. So, fail one you're dead in the water.

She was an awsome teacher to have... she makes class fun and interesting... she laughs and knows how to make litterature VERY interesting... her tests are essay and somewhat hard but if you take really good notes....youll do good...i would def. take her for another class

This class was an eye opener. I never knew literature could be seen in so many different ways. I didn't agree with all the theories but I can see now how class and gender and many other issues can effect perspective on how we read. Definitely I will take another class with Dr. Olsen.

Dr. Olsen's classromm topics are open for discussion and her teaching style is very laid back. Watch out for those tricky essay tests, though! Dont wear your feelings on your shoulders, because they very likely will be brushed off and stepped on. Also, for the tests, know everything she ever said
