Dr. Garcia-Rodriguez is easy to talk to, very knowledgable, and most importantly, a great professor. I would definitely recommend her. She gave a lot of readings and papers with them. Awesome professor! I took her for two semesters and I loved both classes. She's so sweet, has a very motherly quality. Makes sure each student knows all of the material. The tests are pretty straight forward, not hard at all. Not much homework and if there is, she usually goes over it with the whole class. Overall, great prof. Love her.

She is a lovely teacher!! She is very helpful and is the typical sweet Hispanic "mom" type of teacher. She takes interest in every one of her students and sticks very close to the use of literature through books or film for the class. three classes with her so far and no regrets!!

I have not taken SPA since the 11th grade and I am black (not fluent). I still can't speak very well, but I wrote well, and always memorized vocab before tests. I always did my homework, and she gives you the homework weeks in advance so if u want to be ahead of the class you can. I was one of two boys in this class which is always a plus.
