Comment:
If you took Philos 210 and understood it (specifically, derivations), this class will be very doable for you. Lectures are irrelevant because he rambles and often realizes he has screwed up an example half-way through. Attendance is mandatory, however, so it is good if you go. If I hadn't taken 210 first, I totally would have botched this class.

Don't take this class if you absolutely don't have to. It was boring and useless. The class was recommended to me to fulfill a requirement instead of math. In retrospect, I would have much rather taken the math class.

I just looked over the text book the night before the exam and got an A in the class. Very easy if you are good with logic. He gives you a sheet with the formulas on it for the exams and work in groups for the take home quizzes.

Class deals with material that can be challenging. He does provide "practice exams"(with answers)prior to in-class exams that mimic the real exams very closely. There are also take home exams(which are essentially worksheets) that total are worth more than the in class exam. Wouldn't recommend the course unless you need it for Quant B

Easy class. Attendance counts as 10% of your grade and he lets you use the formulas for the exams and all quizzes are take home.

HORRIBLE CLASS. DO NOT TAKE IT IF YOU DONT HAVE TOO. You cannot understand what he says and he jumps from topic to topic. Exams are hard and ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY when it is at 930am.

Lectures will put you to sleep but if you read the book and can comprehend it you will do ok. Essentially the content of this class is probably useless in the real world but its a pretty easy 4 credits of intermediate level course to fulfill your general requirements

This class was soooo boring. I thought it would have helped for the LSAT, but with all the math i took, it was ridicolously boring and sterile.
