This proffesor is the worst, 3 classes with him 3 C's, the reason i took him was because it was mandatory. He's so trash -.- He do not keep up with the sylabus, and he only see the bad things about students

With this professor you will have to work, like really work even if its a 1 credit class (3625). For this class you will be solving differiental equations circuits and coding your results on matlab. Its not an ez class, his tests are super hard, he does not review and he does not give partial credit. So if you mess up in step 1 your toast.

Comment:

In CET 4960 we would have short class sessions and every other week we would have class at home from Skype. It was a great system, it really helped people who have their weekends full. This class is project heavy, you will have to write a research paper but you will learn a lot from it. If you're not lazy and you want to learn new things take this.

Professor Carranza is really good. It is by no means an easy class where you will sleep through and get an A. You will work for it. There will be some projects in the class but you will learn a lot. He tries to help his students a lot by giving extra credit all the time. So there is no way that you can fail his class. Extremely fair&inspirational

Great Professor as long as you do the work . His lectures are very well explained .he will help you pass but he has to see improvement from your part and dedication as well. Class was interesting as we got to build a project with the raspberry pi and other as group project.

The approach taken in this class was Very Good. The Original Digital Design we did as group gave us clear understanding of what it takes to come from specification to implementation. The use of Raspberry PI was another excellent project to be considered in this class. Here we were able to use different concepts in builing our project. Very Good!!!

Excellent Class for those that really work diligently. The class provided practical solutions and connections of Math & Engineering. You have to work continuosly and not leave things for the last minute. He gave all opportunity to learn and obtain good grades. Excellent overall period.

He is the worst professor to have in the department. He changes the syllabus constantly and the projects; even till the last day. You never know what you going to get. Prefers to let his class go home early, so he can get home early. Didn't want to teach us coding (MATHLAB, Java, Python) for his final project. He favors Hispanic students.

Very friendly. He gives all the possibilities for you to learn. I have learned to be self motivated and in my opinion this will endure with me for years to come. Take his class if you want to learn. One thing is guaranteed you have to work hard in his class, but if you do your work on time and follow instructions you will end up with good, marks.

He is cool, He teaches his subject with practical applications in mind not only pure theory. If you really want to learn take his classes. He is there for everybody who wants to do the work not for the lazy ones. Great professor.
