Don't be fooled by her stern look; she can be warm and friendly given the right conditions. Her tests and quizzes reflect what she teaches in class. If you want to learn and do well, go to her lectures and take notes.

Comment:

Tests reflected what what was taught in class and the review sheets prior to the strike, however, after the strike, the test materials became extremely tricky. Failed them even though I knew & studied the content. I would've thought it would be easier due to strike but nope. Also, she teaches very fast and uses words that are hard to understand.

OK professor. Tests are easy if you study a bit. Lessons are not utterly interesting, but you will not die of boredom. She gives optional exercise to practice which is good.

She's honestly a nice professor and always willing to help. It's not really the professor but really the content involved in this course that gets pretty tricky. The best way to overcome this is by attending every class, asking questions frequently, and taking some time to practice on your own. If u follow this, i promise u that u will be fine.

A very respectable and nice woman. She is willing to provide extra help and she encourages students to speak up during class if you dont understand a topic. in general, requires you to maintain good attendance or you will easily fall behind. She wants everyone to succeed and she will explain things from multiple perspectives.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT take her courses. She barely teaches/provides a lecture. Her classes are mostly Q&A, which just means you're sitting there doing excerise and ask her if you have any questions. I found better help/assistance from the tutors at the learning center. She is also a very hard marker - don't count on getting good marks!!

Tests reflect exactly what she has taught in class, but she doesnt give any grading criteria. You need to ensure to include everything relevant to the question, fr what was given in the questions to a concluding statement and show clear step by step process in arriving to your answer. I'm getting A's in all other classes in all sem, and expecting D

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She moves at the speed of light and does not care if you understand or not. She defiantly knows her stuff and thinks you do too. HARDEST marker, do not expect part marks for anything. Tough course to begin with and having her does not make it any easier. Beware!

I don't know why students give her good mark for QNM222. She is only in a class just little bit more than one hour in 2 hours class, she doesn't care students understand or not. She doesn't explain much about basics that you should know to understand formula, and just gives us examples. And she is tricky on exam. Don't take her class!!

Aphy is an amazing professor. She gives clear lectures and useful examples to grasp concepts. Her tests are mostly straightforward and reflect what was learned. So glad to have had her as a stats professor! She's also very sweet!Thank you for everything!

First, this course is not easy to begin with due to the complexity of the textbook and it's a pretty dry course. On that note, Aphy is a good prof, as long as you attend her classes and ask questions until you get the concepts. This is one of the few cases where it's not the prof, but the difficulty of the subject that's the problem.

If you are accountable for your own learning, you will be fine in her class. If you're looking to do minimal work and expecting an A, you should look elsewhere. You ABSOLUTELY have to attend her class. Her tests were sometimes tricky but if you practice the problems she assigns you should be fine. She's nice and willing to help too if you ask.

Aphy is a great Stats prof. She provides amazing notes and her lectures are clear and to the point. She cares about all her students and will do all she can to help if you go to her for help. Neilson text book for the course is just horrible but Aphy will provide awesome lectures to clear any confusion. Overall highly recommended. AWESOME TEACHER!

A great professor who also cares and is very nice. The course itself is a bit tough and the textbook is boring! But if you attend her lectures, you will really get a lot of the course and a good grade.Also, if you can't attend a lecture, then talk to her and she will let you attend another one of her classes. She likes to help. Highly recommended.

She is a ok Professor. Personally I like her teaching style. She always writes a lot in the blackboard. She is always there to help students. but really a hard marker and very strict. she is very beatiful.
