Although he's a great instructor, he is a tough marker. Very critical when marking writing and his exams are difficult. Exams are 50 m/c and a few short answer. He gives 20 minutes for open book during the exam but it isn't very helpful since the questions are applied and are not found in the textbook. Nevertheless, course itself was interesting.

Arleigh is a great prof! Super nice and friendly. All of his assignments were straight forward. He does mark a little hard though and his tests are a bit hard. But I'd still take another course with him!

Arleigh is an amazing prof. If you want an A, reach out to him. You can always send him all the assignments beforehand for reviewing. Don't do it on the last minute. Tips on tests: #1 Read the book! (it's interesting). #2 Memorize the vocabs (you can search flashcards on google ex. Psychological disorders flashcards). No midterms or finals ;)

Amazing professor. Lectures are very interesting but the tests focus mainly on textbook. One essay which is about only 3 pages :) No midterm or final exam, instead you have tests every 2 weeks, so study the textbook! Took Psych 1100 and Psych 1200 with him

Arleigh's class was great. Lectures are really interesting. Make sure to keep up with the readings. Exams were MC and some written; 70% of the questions were from the book and 30% were from lectures. Non-cumulative. Lenient in marking. He's a nice guy, really down to earth. Very approachable, he wants the best for his students. Good prof overall.

Nicest guy ever! He's so chill and timid and is really passionate about what he does. The course is easy but he gives you the marks you deserve, so you still have to put the effort in. Attending class helps because a lot of his exams are based on videos he shows in class

Nice prof but tough class. A lot of us did bad on assignments and he didnt scale the grades, just gave us other opportunities which you'd think would be good.. but he wouldnt help you out any more on those than the first so it was the same. we finished class almost 2 weeks ago & final project 5 days ago but still no marks up...

Awesome Prof! I really enjoyed his class, he's a pretty easy marker and gave the class plenty of opportunities to succeed. Videos shown a lot during class are important on tests, along with like minor facts in the text. Would recommend and take in the future!

Loved the course content and the prof. He's awesome and so entertaining when he's frustrated that the class isn't participate. Kind of awkward at times but the dude is funny. If you take his class, make his day and participate!

As an engineering student, I just took psychology as an easy elective, but because of this teacher I'm also taking psyc 1200. He is a very easy marker (as long as you do what is told) and the tests are not that bad. I studied about 2 hours for each midterm and ended up with over 90%. Bonus: No final exam! As a person, this teacher is awesomely kind
