Well educated, but not gifted (although he thinks very high of himself). He does not apply what he teaches and preaches. Class is very engaging - often too engaging which is at the expense of clarity and learning. Never argue with him, he only accepts his opinion and does not allow other views. Has his favorite students, especially women.

The course is challenging. There are over 100 students, and a lot of topics to cover. I was impressed by this teacher's ability to explain the concepts, but to get a good grade you really need to work with the material on your own time. Ahmad's grading structure was very generous:(best 2/3 quizzes for 15%, two assignments 20%, midterm 25%, final40%

Pros: Very approachable, personable, and dedicated. Interesting lectures. Patient. Will go out of his way to help you. Very knowledgeable about the subject. Cons: Disorganized at times. Sometimes scatterbrained. Makes things seem simple in class but the quizzes/tests are hard! Study every practice problem you can get your hands on. Go to tutorials!

I absolutely adore this teacher. He genuinely cares about his students, and if you have an issue he will definitely accomodate you. The classes go by so fast simply because he's so interesting to listen to. He is by far the best prof I've had. His midterm and quizzes are a little harder than other sections, however he teaches the material better.

Easy grader. Intellectual who lacks structure, he loses a lot of time on minor administrative issues. You'll learn a bundle about finance though. But, his theory of male inferiority, and female superiority, which he places on a pedestal, is a shame, showing that intellectuals sometimes lose themselves in theories without any critical thinking.

Very approachable and friendly. Does his best to help you, grades very fairly and overall excellent prof. It is not a course that you can take lightly however, and theres only so much a prof can do. Be up to date on your reading and practice and you'll do fine. I found the quizzes extremely useful!

Good teacher, you have to keep up though! His notes are simple and to the point... Get great grades during the semester because the final is a killer! But he'll prepare you well and he marks really well. Only Finance teacher that gives part marks and has his own mid-terms!
